Miami’s Club Space will temporarily close for renovations

Miami’s iconic Club Space is gearing up for a temporary closure this summer as it undergoes extensive renovations. The 2,000-capacity nightclub, renowned for its vibrant atmosphere, will be shuttered from June 2nd to accommodate necessary adjustments mandated by the construction of the adjacent E11EVEN Hotel and Residences.

The ambitious real estate project, featuring two towering structures, necessitates structural modifications within Club Space to align with Miami’s building and fire safety regulations. Co-owners Coloma Kaboomsky, David Sinopoli, and Davide Danese revealed plans for the renovation, which include the construction of a new stairwell to enhance emergency exit accessibility from the ground floor entrance to the dancefloor above.

With a commitment to preserving its legacy and remaining an integral part of the 11th Street neighborhood’s development, Club Space emphasizes the importance of proactive improvements. While ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, the renovation aims to enhance the club’s ambiance and elevate the dance floor experience for patrons.

Anticipating completion by autumn 2024, Club Space’s sister venue, Factory Town, will host a series of events during the renovation period. However, before the temporary closure, Club Space has announced two weekends of “closing party marathons” on May 23rd–26th and May 30th–June 2nd.

These electrifying events will feature a lineup of both local talents like Ms. Mada, Sister System, and True Vine, as well as renowned DJs including Floorplan, Honey Dijon, and Solomun. For more information on the closing parties and renovation updates, visit the Club Space website.
