Tim Bergling’s death on April 20, 2018 was a shockwave, the global mourning an equal and opposite reaction to the Swedish producer’s intensely uplifting music and the reach it had during his comet streak of a career. As Avicii, Tim Bergling brought a pop sensibility to the electronic scene and helped redefine the global EDM phenomenon. His biggest tracks -“Levels”, “Wake Me Up”, “Hey Brother” - were pristinely produced anthems of collective catharsis. His rise to fame and subsequent retirement was chronicled in Avicii: TRUE STORIES, filmed over 3 years and directed by Levan Tsikurishvili. “I will however never let go of music,” he said at the time. “I will continue to speak to my fans through it.” In this period, Bergling returned to place he felt best: the studio. This new project, TIM, is a 12-track collection of some of that new Avicii music. Produced primarily between January and April 2018, these songs represent Bergling’s most recent thoughts and vision. This project comes at the request and with the blessing of Bergling’s parents who wanted to see that Tim’s music was heard. Albin Nedler and Kristoffer Fogelmark, Vincent Pontare and Salem Al Fakir and Carl Falk, Joakim Berg and Joe Janiak, who collaborated extensively with Bergling throughout his career, were enlisted to complete the tracks. But given how near completion it was, Bergling is still very much the producer of these tracks. While Avicii was Bergling’s brand, TIM is who he really was.

Alesso, a DJ and dance music producer from Stockholm, Sweden, has achieved cross-genre success, blending progressive house with pop and scoring worldwide hits in collaboration with a wide range of artists. His earliest pop hits included 2012's "Calling (Lose My Mind)" (with Sebastian Ingrosso and Ryan Tedder) and 2013's "Under Control" (with Calvin Harris and Hurts), the latter of which reached number one in the U.K. He opened for Madonna during several British and Russian dates on her 2012 MDNA Tour, and performed at major festivals such as Coachella, Creamfields, and Electric Daisy Carnival. "Heroes (We Could Be)," a 2014 single featuring Tove Lo, became his first U.S. Top 40 hit, preceding his 2015 debut full-length, Forever. His next major international hit, 2017's "Let Me Go," was a collaboration with actress Hailee Steinfeld and country duo Florida Georgia Line. Alessandro Lindblad, more commonly known as Alesso, is a DJ and dance music producer from Stockholm. His career quickly gained mainstream recognition for his remixes of Tiësto, Swedish House Mafia, and Avicii, as well as his own productions. His first major achievement came in 2011, when his remix of Nadia Ali's track "Pressure" was one of the most successful EDM efforts of the year. Later in the same year, he placed in DJ Mag's Top 100 list, debuting at number 70. Early 2012 also started well for him when he was named an MTV "one to watch," made his first BBC Radio 1 essential mix, and earned the Track of the Year award on Zane Lowe's prime-time Radio 1 slot for the single "Calling (Lose My Mind)." Alesso also managed to move up many notches in DJ Mag's DJ of the Year listings to number 20. He leaped to major success when he had a U.K. chart number one with his collaborative single "Under Control" alongside Calvin Harris and Hurts. In 2014, Alesso inked a deal with Def Jam Recordings, and in 2015 he issued his debut album, Forever, which included the singles "Tear the Roof Up," "Cool," and "Heroes (We Could Be)," the latter of which featured Swedish pop star Tove Lo. The following year, he issued a pair of collaborations with prominent Asian pop stars. A version of "I Wanna Know" featuring Taiwanese singer Jolin Tsai on vocals was promoted in Ibiza and Shanghai, while "Years" received a K-pop revamp with EXO's Chen. In 2017, Alesso scored a modest hit on the all-star collaboration "Let Me Go," which featured Hailee Steinfeld, Andrew Watt, and Florida Georgia Line. The track hit the Top 40 across the globe, rising to number six on the Billboard Dance/Electronic chart. After closing out that year with the Anitta collaboration "Is That for Me," Alesso returned in 2018 with the solo singles "Remedy" and "Tilted Towers," and in early 2019 he released the mixtape Progresso: Volume 1. Several non-album tracks arrived in 2020, including "In the Middle" with Sumr Camp, "Midnight" featuring Liam Payne, and "The End" featuring Charlotte Lawrence. ~ James Pearce, Rovi

Featuring Christian Karlsson of Miike Snow and Linus Eklöw from Style of Eye, Galantis are a Swedish super duo who represent the place where electronic dance music meets pop. Since the early 2010s, the pair's prolific output has yielded hits such as the multi-platinum "Runaway (U & I)," "Peanut Butter Jelly," and "No Money" from their first two albums, 2015's Pharmacy and 2017's The Aviary. Karlsson (the man behind hits like Britney Spears' "Toxic") met Eklöw (the man behind hits like Icona Pop's "I Love It") at the Robotberget studio in Stockholm in 2007. Their mutual admiration turned into a project once they began discussing a more poignant style of EDM that retained pop's passion. The duo set up shop on the Stockholm archipelago in the Baltic Sea, began recording, and released the "Smile" single on the Atlantic label in late 2013. The Grammy-nominated hit single "Runaway (U & I)" followed in 2014, while their debut effort, Pharmacy, landed a year later. The album featured two new singles, "Gold Dust" and "Peanut Butter Jelly." The following year, Galantis released the single "No Money," which became their first song to debut on the Billboard Hot 100. That same year also saw the release of "Love on Me," a collaboration with Aussie DJ Hook N Sling, and in 2017 they released a remix of singer/songwriter/pianist Wrabel's "Bloodstain." Singles continued to roll out, including "Hunter," "True Feeling," and "Girls on Boys," which featured singer Rozes. The duo's sophomore set, Aviary, arrived that September and made a solid showing on Billboard's Top 200. Galantis spent 2018 issuing singles such as "Spaceship" featuring Uffie and "Satisfied" featuring MAX. The next year was much the same, highlighted by collaborations with OneRepublic ("Bones"), Passion Pit ("I Found U"), and even Dolly Parton ("Faith"). By the time 2020 rolled around, most of their next album's tracks had already been released. Nonetheless, Galantis issued their third LP, Church, that January, collecting all nine singles alongside fresh inclusions featuring John Newman, Bali Bandits, and others. 2021 brought the single "Dandelion," a collaboration with JVKE. ~ David Jeffries, Rovi

For over 20 years, Eric Prydz has been synonymous with immaculately produced and unique sounding electronic music. The Platinum-selling artist is responsible for some of the biggest progressive house tracks, not to mention some of the most technically impressive live shows of any touring artist - HOLO/EPIC Prydz has headlined some of the world’s most storied venues, Madison Square Garden to Brixton Academy & Alexandra Palace, earned multiple Grammy nominations, hosted an ongoing radio show for Beats1 and topped charts with his alter-egos Pryda and Cirez D. It’s his dedication to his craft as a producer and DJ that leaves him in the highly enviable and singular position of appealing to dance music’s underground connoisseurs and main-stage masses alike. Pryda is Prydz’s most well-known alias, one whose sound is replicated endlessly in dance music. Listen to the discographies of any current electronic music success and you can hear Pryda’s influence—the ‘Pryda Sound,’ comprised of immaculately layered melodies and harmonies, is now almost a sub-genre unto itself. Cirez D offers a different perspective, a stark contrast to the rich melodies of Pryda, its stripped-back techno dark, raw, and designed for ominous warehouses and long, late-night sets. It’s a deliberate point of focus for Prydz, who relishes playing those environments, and Cirez D, like his other monikers, offers him the freedom to make and release the records that he wants to play, unconstrained by expectations.

With five Grammy nominations and a bright, distinctive sound, electronic dance musician Axwell is an award-winning DJ/producer and member of the progressive house supergroup Swedish House Mafia. With the latter, he conquered festivals throughout the early 2010s, scoring two platinum certifications with their albums Until One and Until Now. As a solo artist, he churned out consistent singles, most notably 2008's "What a Wonderful World," 2012's remix of "In My Mind," and 2018's "Belong." Born Axel Christofer Hedfors in Lund, Sweden, he grew up playing drums. His love of beats and percussion flowed naturally into electronic music composition, which he started as a teenager. He performed under early monikers OXL and Quazar before doling out remixes as Axwell. He first hit the Billboard dance chart hit in 2003 with the single "Burning" (a collaboration with Robbie Rivera and Suzan Brittan), while 2004 saw the release of "Feel the Vibe," a hit that would surface again in 2005 as "Feel the Vibe ('Til the Morning Comes)" with singer Tara MacDonald adding new vocals. The year 2005 also saw the release of the dance hit "Watch the Sunrise" with Steve Edwards on vocals, along with the formation of the DJ's own label, Axtone. In 2006, he would form the project Supermode with fellow producer Steve Angello, while in 2007 the pair was joined by DJ Sebastian Ingrosso for a DJ set in Ibiza under the name Swedish House Mafia. Two years later the trio signed a major-label recording contract with EMI and made their commercial production debut with the summer 2010 anthem "One," also known as "One (Your Name)" (the latter version featured Pharrell Williams of the Neptunes on vocals). The song was a Top Ten hit in the United Kingdom, Sweden, the Netherlands, and Belgium, and landed on the group's debut album, 2010's Until One. Two years later the group members announced they were breaking up and returning to their solo careers, although only after a farewell tour and the release of their second album, 2012's Until Now. That same year, Axwell's remix of Ivan Gough & Feenixpawl's "In My Mind" turned the track into a smash hit and earned Axwell a Grammy nomination for best remix. He followed it in 2013 with the solo hit "Center of the Universe," along with another collaboration with Ingrosso, the single "Roar." The two DJs officially formed the duo Axwell / Ingrosso in 2014, performing at festivals and releasing singles such as "Something New" and "Can't Hold Us Down." 2015 track "Sun Is Shining" was also a huge success, hitting number one on the Swedish singles chart and eventually being certified quadruple platinum. The duo released follow-up single "This Time" that November, with all proceeds donated to charity. These songs were eventually included on the duo's debut, More Than You Know, which arrived in late 2017. The pair later reunited with Angello at Ultra Miami 2018 for a surprise performance as Swedish House Mafia, teasing an official future reunion of the beloved trio. That same year, Axwell also released solo singles "Barricade" and Swedish chart hit "Belong." ~ Chris True & Neil Z. Yeung

Dr. Alban has become one of the most recognizable faces of the '90s Euro-dance scene with his dancehall-inflected take on the style. Born in a middle-class Nigerian family of ten children, Alban relocated to Stockholm, Sweden at 23 to study dentistry. In order to pay for his studies, he started to work as a DJ, where he quickly gained notice for singing reggae-style over the records he spun. After he graduated, he managed to reconcile his medical activities with DJing for a while, until he met producer Denniz Pop, who signed him to his SweMix label. Adopting the Dr. Alban moniker as a nod to his dentistry background, he released his debut album Hello Afrika in late 1990, with both the title track and "No Coke" becoming million-selling European hits in 1991. In 1992, second album One Love earned him a sizable hit in the title track and unleashed another two million-selling-plus Euro-smashes in "It's My Life" and "Sing Hallelujah," cementing his place as one of Euro-dance's brightest stars. His third album, Look Who's Talking, came in 1994, with the title track giving him another large hit all over Europe. Since then, he has only released one other album, Born in Africa , Prescription , I Believe & Back to Basics.

Sébastian Ingrosso is a Swedish EDM producer and DJ of Italian descent. He has an extensive catalog of original productions as well as remixes for artists ranging from Moby to Justin Timberlake, but he's perhaps best known for his extensive collaborations with Steve Angello (the founder of Size Records) and Axwell. Though he'd labored as an underground tech-house producer for several years prior, forming Refune Music in 2003 in addition to releasing material on labels like Joia Records and Executive Records, Ingrosso scored his first major hit in 2005 with "Together," a collaboration with Axwell that was licensed for major-label release. A string of hit collaborations followed in 2007 -- "Get Dumb," billed also to Axwell, Angello, and Laidback Luke; "It's True," billed also to Axwell; and "Umbrella," billed also to Angello -- as did an entry in the two-CD Ministry of Sound mix album series Sessions. In late 2008, Ingrosso, Axwell, and Angello officially formed dance supergroup Swedish House Mafia, a more pop-centric venture than their previous works. Along with Laidback Luke and vocalist Deborah Cox, they produced hit single "Leave the World Behind" in 2009 (although the release was credited to the producers' individual names). The trio's first full-length, Until One, a continuous mix of individual as well as group productions/remixes, appeared in 2010. In 2012, Ingrosso and Alesso collaborated with Ryan Tedder for a hit single titled "Calling (Lose My Mind)." Ingrosso's "Reload" (in collaboration with Tommy Trash and Swedish vocalist John Martin) was an even bigger success. Both songs appeared on Swedish House Mafia's second and final album, Until Now. Axwell and Ingrosso contributed the track "Roar" to the movie Monsters University in 2013. The following year, they officially formed Axwell & Ingrosso as a duo, releasing several hits, including Swedish number one "Sun Is Shining." Ingrosso released harder-edged single "FLAGS!" (featuring LIOHN and Salvatore) in 2016. ~ Jason Birchmeier, Rovi

As much a musical identity as it is an attitude within the underground world, the two decade and counting reign of Beyer’s Drumcode imprint has seen the home-grown label evolve into a versatile brand recognized across the globe. From branded events and festival stages to the extension of its branded radio show across more than 53 countries, the label continues to deliver cutting edge records with the DJ very much in mind. The past 12 months have seen the brand’s 20th anniversary, the inauguration of Junction 2 Festival in the UK and more exciting international tour duties than ever before for the Swedish techno icon and his unshakable musical legacy.

If much of DJ Seinfeld’s previous work was characterised by a sepia-tinged haze, a result of the producer’s deliberately lo-fi production techniques, then brand new album ‘Mirrors’ sees his music come firmly into focus. “On this album I wanted to retain a lot of the raw emotionality that brought people to my music in the first place,” says DJ Seinfeld. “but I also wanted to become a much better producer. It’s been an arduous process but it’s a real statement of where I’m at as a producer and person right now. I’ve been through various sonic explorations in the past few years but have come to understand what people like about my music and how to move forward with it.” ‘Mirrors’ is the follow-up to Seinfeld’s critically acclaimed 2017 debut album ‘Time Spent Away From U’. Named after a quote by his favourite novelist, Julio Cortázar, the album finds him in a more settled and grounded mood after an unfortunate family incident forced him to spend more time at home. “I saw this quote from Cortázar recently, which says ‘You were always my mirror, to see myself I had to look at you,’ and it just made sense in relation to this album. I don’t know who I am but perhaps it’s easier to see the silhouettes through things like heartbreak, family trauma, but also through the peculiar flickers of light and love that enter your life. If the first album was about getting past a breakup, this one is trying to understand who’s standing on the finish line. This album is my mirror.

At only 24 years old, Swedish-born Oscar Christiansson (better known to 2.000,000+ monthly listeners as Arc North) has distilled his chilled Stockholm upbringing into a one-man production machine. Living proof that the sounds of the north are as exotic and invigorating as any other music out there, Christiansson is focused on showcasing his own unique northern flair. He’s even found his way onto the radar of Spotify tastemakers; his 2018 release ‘Raging’ was placed onto the prestigious MINT playlist, where the track stood with EDM giants like Marshmello, Martin Garrix and Tiësto. Arc North has had a spectacularly unconventional rise in the electronic music scene through his use of collaborations with influencers across social media. With his songs showing up across the internet from videos by YouTube giants Jake Paul, Faker and Nightblue3 to support from industry leaders such as Steve Aoki, Tiësto, Don Diablo and Alan Walker. In the face of his growing success and 300 million streams under his belt, as well as his feature in an award-winning film production with his song 'Together Now', Christiansson remains noticeably humble. He works on frequent collaborations with fans, and occasionally even hosts his own radio show to showcase what’s fueling his creativity. Although his fanbase is evergrowing, his resolve and passion remain unchanged. Arc North makes music for music’s sake, and it’s this mentality that is sure to make him a producer to watch in 2022.

Swedish Artist Ehrling (Born Harald Ehrling, 1995 in Stockholm, Sweden) He started playing piano at eight years old and learned the basics of creating catchy melodies. This led him to download a music program to his computer at the age of thirteen. Harald can clearly remember the first time he had made a song and his older brother ran into his room, asking what the song was called and who the artist was. This had a big impact on Haralds confidence and made him continue his journey to keep creating more music. During the next couple of years Ehrling had created a whole catalogue of music on Spotify. He had found his charesteristc sound - the saxophone. Almost all of Ehrlings work have saxophone in them and he choose this instrument because he felt that it was a good substitute for vocals. By using the sax, Ehrling could express his feelings like he was singing them. At the age of twenty Ehrling started to create a huge buzz amongst travel vloggers on youtube. These were the perfect collaborations since these vloggers often had a very tropical feeling to their content, which aligned with Ehrlings music exceptionally. This led to even more youtubers using his music. Since then Ehrling has continued his career by releasing more music and doing shows at some of Swedens biggest festivals like, Summerburst, Lollapalooza etc.

He explains, “I would work on pretty much every kind of project in order to get the experience I needed as an artist, but I had no idea how K-pop and reggaeton would impact my own sound until I started writing for myself.” His first release, WITHOUT YOU. attracted some early attention in 2018 and set a series of future collaborations in motion. In 2020, Discrete released his debut EP, EXPLORE, which helped him rack up 85 million streams across all platforms. The five tracks delve into a range of emotional spaces with support from Victoria Voss, Sistek and Alex Shield, among others. A brother-and-sister duo hailing from Stockholm, Sweden, the Knife take inspiration from vintage synth pop and forward-thinking electronic music, crafting a sound that is equally unsettling, playful, and beautiful. Olof and Karin Dreijer formed the Knife in 1999 and worked on their music in their home studios, releasing their first single, Afraid of You, in 2000 and their 2001 self-titled debut album on their own Rabid Records label. In 2003, the Knife were nominated for two Grammys, one for Best Pop Group of the Year and one for Best Pop Album for their second album, Deep Cuts. However, the Dreijers boycotted the ceremony, sending two people in gorilla costumes to protest the dominance of male acts in the music industry. They also released the Hanna Med H Soundtrack later that year. In 2004, the Knife began work on their third album in unusual locations, including a former carbon dioxide factory and the vaults of Stockholm's Grand Church, before finishing their sessions in a more conventional studio. The following year, José González's cover of the Deep Cuts single "Heartbeats" (which was from his 2003 album Veneer) appeared in a commercial for Sony's Bravia and became a hit, earning more acclaim for the Dreijers outside of Sweden. Early in 2005, the Knife performed their first-ever live show at London's ICA, appearing with Rex the Dog (who also did a remix of González's version of "Heartbeats") and playing in front of video created for the event by artist Andreas Nilsson. His work also appeared on How I Found the Knife, a DVD/CD set that included all of the band's videos, short films, and remixes, which was released that summer. The Knife and Nilsson teamed up again for the video for the title track of the group's third album, Silent Shout, which was released in early 2006 in Sweden and that summer in the U.S. (by Mute) and U.K. (by Brille). The Knife's darkest, most ambitious work to date, the album featured singles such as We Share Our Mother's Health, which included a mix by Trentemøller. The duo played a handful of European, Scandinavian, and North American dates in 2006, accompanied by more of Nilsson's visuals. That fall, Mute reissued The Knife and Deep Cuts. The Knife's next project was Tomorrow, in a Year, an opera commissioned by the Danish performance group Hotel Pro Forma and inspired by Charles Darwin's On the Origin of the Species. Working with Mt. Sims and Planningtorock, the duo recorded the album in Berlin, Stockholm, and Copenhagen over the course of 2008 and 2009. During that time, Karin Dreijer also worked on her own project Fever Ray with producer Christoffer Berg; the self-titled debut album arrived in 2009, and Tomorrow, in a Year was released in 2010. Early in 2013, the Knife released a new song, "Full of Fire," and announced their fourth album, Shaking the Habitual. Another single, A Tooth for an Eye, arrived before the album. An unsettling 90-minute meditation on topics including politics and the environment, Shaking the Habitual was released that April. The Knife returned the following June with Shaken Up Versions, a mini-album of some of the band's songs as they performed them on the Shaking the Habitual tour. ~ Heather Phares, Rovi

Flamboyant, Viking-like Swede Bo Martin Erik "E-Type" Eriksson was a prominent figure in the Scandinavian club/dance scene throughout the '90s and early 2000s. After putting in time as a drummer for the Scandinavian metal group Hexenhaus and as a DJ for Z-TV, E-Type released his first single as a solo artist, "I'm Falling," in 1993. The single flopped, but E-Type regrouped over the course of the following year and broke into the Swedish music scene with the Max Martin-produced single "Set the World on Fire." The track soared to number one on the Swedish dance charts, paving the way for the release of E-Type's second single, "This Is the Way." E-Type's debut full-length, Made in Sweden, came out soon after, peaking at number two on the Swedish albums chart. E-Type's second album, The Explorer, followed two years later, featuring singles like "Free Like a Flying Demon" and "Calling Your Name." Another full-length, Last Man Standing, which featured the singles "Angels Crying" and "Here I Go Again," came out in 1998. E-Type's first book, Sveakampen, a memoir of sorts in which the artist's friends and family were depicted as Vikings, was published two years later, and his third full-length, Euro IV Ever, hit stores in late 2001. Loud Pipes Save Lives followed in 2004, featuring the single "Paradise," and another single, "True Believer," hit the Scandinavian airwaves three years later. ~ TiVo Staff, Rovi

In an ever-evolving universe, the art of maintaining complete and total fluidity is the most necessary key for survival. Renowned for his metamorphic capabilities and expertly crafted sonic adventures, Liquid Stranger has mastered his ability to slip in and out of genres all while honing his own personal style. Those who are unfamiliar with his music often tend to categorize him as only a heavy dubstep artist, which is anything but the truth. The most effervescent quality of Liquid Stranger is his ability to shift from genre to genre all while maintaining a sense of smoothness and consistency, which in turn makes him one of the most unpredictable artists to date. In a sense, he has ended genre barriers for the sake of musical storytelling taking whatever sounds he needs to put forward the intended vibe. Liquid Stranger's omnifarious approach to music has led him to stand out amongst a pack of artists desperately trying conform to a commercial demand. Proven to be a timeless staple to the world of electronic dance music by bridging the gap between mellow and heavy, what's next can not be foreseen for this contrastive musician.

Henrik Olsson, better known as Ooyy, is a Swedish composer and producer specialising in electronic, house music. As a child, Henrik learned a variety of instruments including drums, guitar and piano, but it wasn’t until he began experimenting with FL Studio and midi keyboards that he really started to discover his sound. Despite being a promising handball player in his youth, it was music that ultimately took centre stage for Henrik; after graduating from high school, he embarked on a three year sound technology course at Dalarna University, subsequently DJing in several clubs across the Stockholm circuit.
Whilst studying at university, Henrik diversified his knowledge of music, listening to and drawing inspiration from a variety of genres including ambient, indie, metal, electronic and house. It was also here that he developed a unique way of generating musical inspiration; on one computer screen he controls his music project and on the other he has a chosen picture to collect the right “vibes and feelings” to “create and sculpture” his sound. In 2018, Henrik released two EPs, Genesis and Future Yellow, alongside the single Ganja, which featured as the soundtrack for H&M’s collaboration with the Swedish Olympic team for the 2018 winter games.

F.O.O.L., the alter-ego of Swedish musician Rasmus Hermansen may not be a super hero, but when he wears a mask, he becomes the protagonist of his own epic, electronic adventure. Active in the European electro craze since late 2009, this bass music powerhouse started out under the alias ''Hermansen'' producing progressive house until showing his true colours in Heavy Electronic Club & Synthwave Music. Bringing a lot of diversity to the table with a wide ray of musical influence and experience ranging from melodic metal, hip hop to even film soundtracks and orchestral music akin to Hans Zimmer, F.O.O.L.- short for Fuck Our Ordinary Lives, proves himself to unload an arsenal of hard hitting yet smooth bass and musical abilities among unsuspecting ears. When it comes to image, F.O.O.L. is sporting his iconic mask. This is by no means a mere change of appearance- however, but the ability for Hermansen to change face into F.O.O.L. symbolizes a crossover from our ordinary world into a futuristic, cinematic soundscape where the bass rules, and the pressures of real life slip away. With his new alter-ego in charge, F.O.O.L. makes his audience have more than just a listening experience, but a journey with him into another universe.

Gidge is a duo consisting of Jonatan Nilsson and Ludvig Stolterman. Rooted in the city of Umeå, Sweden, they make electronic music that is shaped by field-recordings of nature that is both comfortable on the dance floor and in a more relaxing environment. Each and every Gidge track creates its own sense of atmosphere and emotion. Their work evolves naturally, often building to powerful peaks from a silent break that is tweaked with vocal samples and neo-classical influences. While being adored for the inspiration that is drawn from the forest, nature, and the north of Sweden, the music of Gidge has in fact been of an absolute international caliber and is listened to by people from all over the world. Gidge sold out club-tour shows in London, Amsterdam, Paris, and Stockholm, and played their live-set to crowds on festivals in Mexico, Georgia, Turkey, and Thailand. Blogs such as Pigeons & Planes, A Closer Listen, and Ransom Note wrote about their music - Pitchfork staffers chose Gidge amongst their favorite artists to listen to on snowy days - XLR8R readers voted Gidge to the #1 spot of ‘best new electronic act’ in 2015 - Bandcamp highlighted “LNLNN” as ‘album of the day’ in 2017. The list goes on… The Gidge discography includes the album “Autumn Bells”, short-film “Lulin” (in collaboration with Lampray), mini-album “LNLNN”, and debut EP “For Seoul”. November 6th this year will see the release of the album "New Light".

As a trained jazz pianist, Rasmus Faber had a unique beginning to an illustrious two-decade long career in electronic dance music (and latterly as a composer of TV and film music). Becoming a household name to fans of the melodic side of music in the 2000s, Rasmus’s distinctive approach to production led to releases on the world’s most successful dance labels and collaborations with major artists such as Axwell, Deadmau5 and Kaskade. Having brought his house productions to life via his latin music inspired world touring band Rafa Orchestra, a new live project was born called Platina Jazz; a Swedish big band covering Japanese anime songs resulting in 9 albums, many millions of YouTube streams and regular concerts all over the world. Becoming a multi-instrumentalist and procurer of exotic instruments has allowed Rasmus to create daring and boundary-pushing scoring and soundtrack works over the last decade. This kind of artistic progression is a keystone to his longevity and continued popularity exemplified by his album Two Left Feet which was recorded and performed entirely with live instruments by Rasmus. Unique is still the word that best describes Rasmus Faber and his career today. A uniqueness earned from two decades of success as an electronic music producer coupled with the knowledge and craftsmanship developed from working in the classical, jazz, latin, film / tv and computer game scoring worlds that allows for a deep understanding of how music really works.

The recent rise of Lundell as a recording artist in 2017 marks a phoenix like moment for this outspoken multi platform artist turned emotive pop provocateur. Now a multi-platinum selling and chart topping artist with an extensive presence on Spotify, the liberation provided in this emotive and deeply honest songmanship continues to offer the turbulent star a new creative outlet through music. “My background is so much of who I am today. I realise now that the journey here, however turbulent, was part of shaping me and finding a place where I could be comfortable and confident as myself” says Joakim Lundell. The past four years have seen Joakim extend his familial adoration to millions of dedicated viewers online in social media – to the tune of numerous industry awards and hundreds of millions of views along the way. Starting off as a distraction from his debilitating addictions, fans flock in the millions both through his YouTube channels and TV appearances to trace the antics and can-do attitude of a man outspoken and strong enough to overcome his demons in the public eye. More adept to the highs and lows that come with a life spent consistently in the public eye than many of his social savvy peers, his loyal YouTube following continues to inspire a sense of creativity driven to connect people from every side of the world. “You share the success and you take the road knowing that social media and online exposure is a jungle,” he reflects, with a slight chuckle. “It’s a jungle out there, you have to take the highs with the lows.” Garnering more than 50 million streams and 5 x platinum status in his native Sweden in only a few months, Joakim couldn’t have asked for a stronger start to his musical career than that of the single “All I Need in” February 2017. Performed alongside sibling duo Arrhult, this testament to the happiness and stability found alongside his wife Joanna, the addition of a finely tuned self-directed music video kick-started one of the most intimate insights into Lundell’s creative musings to-date. Subsequently the Spotify top 50 and hitting the number one spot domestically, heads were turned for all the right reasons as Joakim took his place as one of Sweden’s hottest pop prospects of 2017. The follow up single “My addiction” (May 2017) repeated the success with “All i need” and his third release “Waiting for” also debuted straight at #1 on Spotify Sweden top 50 in July 2017. Joakim Lundell has made up his mind, and there seems to be little stopping him.

BIO

Stockholm, Sweden's Axel Boman DJs and produces shimmering, playful house music in addition to running the Studio Barnhus label along with Kornél Kovács and Petter Nordkvist. His tracks are generally stripped-down, groove-heavy, and somewhat cheeky, although there are a few moments when he gets introspective and melancholy, such as "Depression 01." He began attending raves during the early '90s, and gradually became a fixture of Stockholm's club scene, first as a partygoer, and eventually as a DJ. Once he made the leap to producing tracks, he released several EPs on Ourvision Recordings starting in 2008. "Arcimboldo" (from 2008's digital-only Jungle Jesus EP) made a splash in the club world, and a 12" of remixes was released in 2010. That same year, Boman co-founded Studio Barnhus, and his Holy Love EP was released by DJ Koze's then-new label Pampa Records. "Purple Drank" became the EP's breakout club hit, and Boman became an in-demand DJ, producer, and remixer.
