THE ROAD TO ADE 2021!

Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) is the most upfront, influential and educational gathering for electronic music and its industry. With its conference, festival and educational breeding ground, ADE is able to create not only the biggest yearly industry tent-pole moment, but also a solid foundation for future generations of electronic music professionals. The event attracts a total of more than 1,000 events in nearly 200 locations across its multidisciplinary program; for five days and nights, the city of Amsterdam truly breathes electronic music!

Taking into account the progress of the pandemic and the growing number of vaccinations not only in the Netherland , ADE expects to celebrate the reopening of its industry at its 25th anniversary edition in Amsterdam taking place from the 13th through 17th of October.

The organisation is dedicated to presenting the best possible ADE experience while ensuring public health guidelines, featuring a rich and diverse program for professionals, artists and music enthusiasts alike. The ADE team is thrilled to kick off the road to the ADE Festival 2021 with a varied lineup of organisers announcing their first shows, including Audio Obscura, Awakenings, DGTL, Dockyard, Elrow, Into the Woods, Loveland and Verknipt, as well as venues Concertgebouw, Panama, Melkweg and Paradiso. The latter two have already announced part of their program, with artists including Dave Clarke and Oliver Heldens for Melkweg and Avalon Emerson and Speedy J presents STOOR live for Paradiso set to take the stage.  Friday 15 Tchami will play at the Paradiso Club and Markus Schulz at the Melkweg.

On Saturday 16 the AMF will be held at the Johan Cruijff Arena with a lineup of big names: Armin Van Buuren, Brennan Heart, David Guetta, Tiësto, Timmy Trumpet, Topic and a b2b between Afrojack and Nicky Romero. Afrojack himself then, behind his alias Kapuchon, will warm up the floor in the pre-show.

On this occasion, as every year, the election of the number 1 DJ in the world will also be held based on the votes received in the ranking drawn up by DJ Mag.

For some years now a large space will be dedicated to mental health issue. James Blake and Jennie Morton, will be discussing strategies and techniques for managing mental health as well as how Blake will be handling his career when the touring industry re-starts. In addition, Blake and Morton will be taking questions from the audience in a live Q&A focusing on mental health topics.

We look forward to seeing you in Amsterdam and bringing the music industry back together!
