Ultra Music Festival, in Miami since 1999, has just announced it has terminated its contract with the city of Miami.
The festival launched in 1999, grew year after year into a three-day adventure and until 2018 had been held at Bayfront Park. However, the city of Miami ousted the festival from its then-home citing noise complaints among the reasons.
According to the letter, Ultra’s organization took into consideration feedback from a post-event survey from fans and came to the conclusion that the festival experience in their 2019 location, Virginia Key, was not good enough.
The letter does not specify a location for their future events but states “We are now finalizing a new South Florida location that will serve as an incredible and permanent home for Ultra Music Festival.”
So where do you think we’ll see ULTRA next year?
