U96 is a pioneering German Electronic Music Project, best known for their genre-defining blend of Techno, Eurodance and Cinematic Soundscapes. Founded 1991 by Writers and Producers Ingo Hauss and Hayo Lewerentz and their Team, the Group shot to Fame with their iconic Debut Single “Das Boot”, a futuristic electronic reimagining of the iconic Film Theme, which became a #1 Hit across Europe and established U96 as a Force in the ‘90s Electronic Music Scene. Throughout the ’90s, U96 evolved their Sound across multiple Albums, mixing hard-hitting Beats with atmospheric Melodies and Sci-fi-inspired Themes. Hits like “Love Sees No Colour” „Love Religion“, and “Club Bizarre”solidified their Place in Dance Music History. U96 has continued to evolve, pushing the Boundaries of Sound and Concept. Their 2020 album “Transhuman”, created in collaboration with former Kraftwerk member Wolfgang Flür, explores the Intersection of Humanity and Technology through futuristic, synth-driven Soundscapes. Beyond the studio, Ingo and Hayo are also working with Passion creating immersive audiovisual Shows for Planetariums, including the stunning Adaptation of Jules Verne’s “20,000 Leagues Under the Sea”. U96 continues to redefine Electronic Music more recently with cutting-edge Producers Maddix, D72, and former MTV Host and Pop Culture Icon Steve Blame. U96 is based in Hamburg,Germany and in the south of Italy
