Moose Dawa

Sweden, Malmö-based producer Moose Dawa has been active in the beat-scene since 2011 but first got some attention on his 2014 self-released EP ”Felia Mea” and the well-received follow up album ”Reflekt” in 2018 through Chillhop Music. With a solid passion for crate-digging he transforms the sounds he find into sample-based instrumental hiphop with a lot of influences from jazz & soul, creating a nostalgic and melancholic atmosphere with his signature sound. Over the years Moose Dawa have managed to establish himself as a well-known name within the genre with a solid discography of several albums, EP’s & singles released on numerous prominent labels around the world. He has also been the supporting act for many international artists such as Slum Village, Homeboy Sandman, Ivan Ave & Black Milk. Earlier in 2024 year he released his full-length album ”February Sepia” through Berlin-based label HHV Records, where he continues to explore the jazzier sound of his productions. 

 By the end of 2024 Moose Dawa released his new album titled ”Paramnesia” through the German label Dezi-Belle Records. The 8-track concept project is featured by the Swedish Grammy-nominated trombonist Ebba Åsman, with a vocal track from rapper Aidinity and co-production from UK-producer Psalm Trees. The album was released on all DSP’s on the 1st of November along with a limited 10” vinyl treatment set to 100 copies.
