Mental Overdrive

MENTAL OVERDRIVE is the moniker used by Norwegian electronic musician PER MARTINSEN for his techno and mainly dancefloor-oriented material ever since the debut EP “12000AD”, released by R&S RECORDS in 1990. In the three decades that has passed since the debut, a long list of releases has been presented through a well of labels, including his own LOVE OD COMMUNICATIONS. MENTAL OVERDRIVE has released 9 full-length albums, and remixed a number of other artist’s work, and continues to play live and DJ sets all over the world. Praised as a pioneer of the Norwegian electronic music scene, he continues to explore sonic possibilities to make people move to new beats.
