Faia

Faia (Romklang Records, NO) Oslo-based DJ and producer Faia has played at most of the clubs and venues in Norway since 2009, as well as numerous festivals such as Sommerøya and Sehr Schøn. In Oslo, she’s booked female DJs to her successful Femmes Fatales events on various venues for well over a decade to help fix the gender imbalance in the Norwegian club scene. She’s played at several clubs around Europe: Culture Box, Club VOID, Burning Man Week (SE), to name a few. In Germany she’s performed at Rummels Bucht, Golden Gate & Bohnengold in Berlin, Technodisco, Stroga Festival, Sandsteinhöhlen, MIT Dir Festival and MOYN Festival. In Thailand she’s played sets at the Jai Thep Festival and other events in Chiang Mai and Koh Phangan. In 2018, Faia got into producing as well and started a collab with duo-partner Duppeditt. They run the label Romklang Records together and are releasing their music. In 2021, they got signed to the label PointZer0 Rec releasing a total of 3 tracks on VA’s. They released ‘Small Beings’ on Music4Aliens V.A ‘New Aliens Vol.3’, and their new release ’Escape EP’ with Amw Black Label in 2022. Faia has appeared on line-ups with high profiled artists such as; Oxia, Pig&Dan, Phaxe, Nastia, BeSvendsen, DJ Hell, Ben Klock, Gabriel Ananda, Lampé, Joseph Disco, TiM TASTE, Ramiro Lopez, Thomas Schumacher and Moog Conspiracy and many more. Faia loves being behind the decks and plays mostly deep, dark, groovy, techy, psychedelic, and hard Minimal, Techno, and House.
