The curtains have closed on one of the most remarkable editions of the Amsterdam Dance Event to date.
Despite some of the toughest weather conditions in recent memory, ADE 2025 proved to be one of the most inspiring and energetic in its history, welcoming over 600,000 visitors, 3,500 artists, and more than 1,200 events spread across 300 locations throughout the city.
Conferences, Creativity, and New Experiences
This year’s ADE stood out not only for its festival energy but also for its professional and educational programs.
The introduction of the new Pro venue Rosewood elevated networking and industry discussions, while the move of ADE Lab to Westergas transformed the space into a vibrant creative village for the next generation of producers and artists.
High-profile names such as Skepta, KI/KI, Eris Drew, Chris Stussy, TxC, ANNA, and Chris Liebing took the stage, joined by representatives from Google DeepMind, Epic Games, SoundCloud, Spotify, Sony Music, Tomorrowland Brasil, and more, reflecting ADE’s growing role as a crossroads between technology, creativity, and business.
Highlights and Standout Moments
From the citywide Opening Specials to the powerful PRAISE experience by Honey Dijon x Audio Obscura inside the historic Nieuwe Kerk, and large-scale shows like Klangkuenstler at Ziggo Dome or Awakenings at their new SugarFactory base, ADE once again proved that its energy flows through every corner of Amsterdam.
On the other end of the spectrum, intimate and alternative events at SkateCafe, Garage Noord, RAUM, Klaproos, Studio Wieman, Lofi, and De Bajes added depth and diversity to the week’s soundscape.
Among this year’s most creative showcases were the Black Lizard Records pop-up DJ set at Concrete Matter, a vintage shop turned dance floor, and the now-iconic Italian bakery party at La Panetteria, proving once again how Italian DJs bring color, warmth, and originality to the ADE landscape.
Also making waves was the Climax X Nexus Lounge, celebrating the Climax Top 100 DJs of 2025, an event that blended music, data, and storytelling to honor the artists shaping today’s global electronic scene.
Looking Ahead: The 30-Year Milestone
As ADE 2025 concludes, all eyes are already on the next chapter.
The organization has officially announced the dates for its 30th anniversary edition, taking place October 21–25, 2026.
Over the past three decades, ADE has evolved from a small industry conference into the world’s leading electronic music platform, a cultural phenomenon that has helped define an entire genre and inspire generations of artists.
If 2025 was the prelude, then the 30 Years ADE edition promises to be nothing short of legendary, a celebration of three decades of sound, creativity, and connection that continue to drive electronic music forward.
