With a name that echoes through the halls of music history, Robin Schulz has amassed a staggering array of achievements that have solidified his status as one of the industry's most successful artists. Across the past years, he has garnered over 800 Gold, Platinum, and Diamond awards in 30 countries. Now, two years after the release of his highly acclaimed album "IIII," the Grammy-nominated DJ and producer is ready to unveil his fifth studio album, "PINK." Born and raised in a medium-sized German city with a population somewhere in the 160,000s and an excitement level that can be described as middle-rate at best, Schulz has transcended boundaries and become a global sensation. Traveling the world nonstop to play packed clubs, the world’s biggest festivals or his annual summer residency at Pacha, Ibiza, he captivates audiences with his electrifying performances. Schulz's fairytale-like success story began in 2014 when he first ascended to the top of worldwide singles charts with his acclaimed remix of "Waves (feat. Mr. Probz)" and landed his breakthrough global uber-hit “Prayer in C (feat. Lilly Wood & The Prick)”. “Sugar (feat. Francesco Yates)” followed shortly after in 2015. That song recently made its entry into Spotify’s Billions Club. His immense popularity is further highlighted by over 20 million sales and an astonishing 12 billion streams worldwide.

When reviewing Adam Port’s musical merits at this point in time, it shows that most of it took shape off the beaten path. Be it the conditions that sparked his DJ-career. Be it his approach of DJing itself or be it his artistic progression, manifested in his productions. Over the last years, Adam landed a string of much noticed releases on different labels, be it on Keinemusik, his Berlin-based label-mainstay and collective of fellow artists &ME, Rampa, Reznik and designer Monja Gentschow. Or be it on imprints like Freerange, Pets, Cocoon, Moon Harbour etc. It’s been tunes that immediately brought worldwide attention to his name. But then, instead of doing the obvious, getting a management, meeting demands, playing those big stages, delivering the hits, Adam once again did what felt best for him. Maintaining artistic integrity, releasing records that reflect where his love for music is at in one moment, not knowing where it might be on the very next release, and keeping DJ-sets not only interesting for a crowd, but also himself. Granted: What Adam Port is laying his hands on might have its place within the parameters of House and Techno, but it’s always more than that. It’s his style.

Keinemusik is a network with the label as the pulse pumping centre. Driven particularly by the spirit that moves the collective behind the imprint. The spirit to find your own agenda and let nobody get in the way. The spirit of refining House and Techno off the beaten path. Be it within their own tracks, within productions of other sorts or DJ-sets. The spirit of recall value within record- and flyer-artworks and everything intermediate in word and image surrounding releases and parties. And the spirit of diversification – Rampa’s effect-gadget-venture TEILE being one example. Keinemusik’s own booking department ‘Worldwide Dancing Club’, established in 2018, being another. Keinemusik has been around since 2009. It has been naming an existing friendship and linked interests of five members – four DJs and one graphic designer and painter. A more or less constant count of five releases per year have been released ever since, solely laid down by members of the crew. And a considerable count of label-parties went down, not only in Berlin, but around all international focal points for electronic music. And surely, there’s plenty more where those came from. So see you soon in a record store or on a dancefloor in your area!

Cascada: Musical Journey to New Heights Since their international breakthrough in 2006, Cascada has established itself as one of the most influential forces in the international dance music scene. Founded in 2004, the group has sold approximately 30 million records worldwide to date. Now the charismatic lead singer Natalie Horler is aiming for further success at the pinnacle of the international hit scene with her new single „Ain't No Mountain High Enough“ (release date: 15.3.2024). The accompanying album „Studio 24“ will be released in fall 2024. Studio 24 - A new era Inspired by the disco and funk era, the new album „Studio 24“ is currently in production. The collaboration with renowned German producer Christian Geller is responsible for the musical development. The new songs bring a fresh perspective to the iconic sounds that made the legendary „Studio 54“ club in New York world-famous. They once again demonstrate Cascada's talent for integrating different musical elements into her distinctive style and appeal to both loyal fans and new listeners. Natalie Horler describes the idea as pure passion: „What I've always loved about the Studio 54 era is its legendary aura and the outcry for freedom and self-expression. Back then, you could walk into the club naked or ride in on a white horse. Nobody batted an eyelid. I just love that kind of thing.“

From 2009 on, Rampa made a name of himself through Keinemusik, his own little d.i.y.-cosmos, being not only label, but also crew of likeminded DJs, producers and friends. The teamwork within this realm has seen a serious number of productions and collaborations, particularly with fellow producer &ME, not to forget the rest of the bunch, Adam Port, Reznik and Monja.
Besides, he’s got an array of other collaborations and releases under his belt, put out on imprints like Circoloco, Innervisions, Diynamic, Afterlife, Cocoon, Ninja Tunes / Counter Records, Strictly Rhythm, Kompakt, 2020 Vision, Freerange, BPitch Control, Defected or Crosstown Rebels.
The events of the last few years have seen Rampa focussing more and more on the production side of things, be it studio time or the inauguration of the TEILE project – his own company to produce and distribute analogue effects, custom built for DJ-purposes. Certainly also an outlet for a slight nerdism, that includes not only studio gear, but instruments in general. When it comes to DJing itself, he is going for a less is more approach these days, choosing bookings and playing more consciously.

When one could assume, &ME entered the House and Techno world somewhat out of the blue, it is due to his sublime modesty that’s already captured in his alias. His way to become one of today’s most praised and sought after DJ/producers is based on a solid foundation. A foundation comprised of solo-releases, remixes, projects and collaborations that numerous, we’d rather refer to his discography than weary you with namedropping. Besides, all those references would just distract from what truly matters – the music this guy is delivering. Not to underestimate the importance of a project such as Terranova for &ME’s current path, but still the alignment has been made – to focus consistently on his solo-work. And it shows. There are not many artists around turning in such a slew of globally praised floormaterial like &ME did over the last years. Just think of his last offerings on Keinemusik, a collective of Berlin based DJs and producers, including Rampa, Adam Port and Reznik, he helped founding in 2009, namely “After Dark” and “Woods” or his “Vermillion”-remix for Damian Lazarus – all serious bangers, played by every renowned DJ worldwide. Everything is falling into place for the fella. His DIY-approach to handle things, his easy going attitude, his reputation as a gifted producer and DJ extraordinaire, his ability to link innovative production with consensual reception, making him one of the most unique and original figures in the game.

There's no getting around FAST BOY: Felix and Lucas have been celebrating international successes since 2022, placing at number 1 in the airplay charts in 7 countries with MEDUZA and “Bad Memories”, collecting over 1 billion streams as songwriters and also making a name for themselves through features with Tiesto, David Guetta, Topic, Oliver Heldens, Ofenbach and more. Their meteoric rise has taken the brothers to Europe's biggest main stages for electronic music - Parookaville, Electric Love, Tomorrowland and many more. The brothers' love for good, emotional pop and their impatience - in the most positive sense - steered their creative flow in the direction of dance pop. Felix is a bit more of a producer, Lucas more of a singer, but overall both contribute equally to FAST BOY's energetic signature sound. Indie influences and Berlin club culture meet deep melancholy and pure pop hooks making for playful compositions that go straight to the heart - whether on AirPods, the radio or on stage. In addition to guaranteed catchy tunes and pure live demolition, the two can also rely on charisma, humbleness, and their immense enthusiasm for their work. FAST BOY also means putting your head through the wall with full commitment – an attitude that pays off. “We want to reach as many people as possible,” the brothers say in regard to their goals. “To see the world and share what we feel through music.”

Ben Bohmer is a man compelled—a composer and producer who constantly seeks to give life to new ideas through his music. His relationship with creativity hangs on the brink of obsessiveness, as evidenced in the studio, where he can spend days at a time on a single idea. Ben is now a decade into a career throughout which he has relentlessly focused on honing a craft that allows him to express deep, complex feelings. He tackled grief on his breakthrough debut album, Breathing, and separation on its follow-up, 2021’s Begin Again. These compositions, though electronic, are introspective, favoring emotion over function. As a teenager, he studied piano without using sheet music under Christoph Busse, who instilled in Ben a love for improvisation and experimentation. This pursuit of creative freedom and experimentation drew him from rural Germany to Berlin as a 17-year-old, where he fell into the city’s freewheeling club scene. A formative period, he started playing clubs at age 18. They served as his informal conservatory, sharpening his performance skills and highlighting the transformative escapism and point of connection electronic music could offer. This point of connection might be what best defines Ben. His music allows audiences to experience comfort and joy, melancholy and optimism. It is this singular emotional path, that he constantly challenges himself to tread in his music.

German rave machine Scooter are one of the most successful dance acts of all time, having sold millions of records, scored dozens of hit singles and full-lengths, and completed numerous international tours since forming in the early '90s. The group is the embodiment of dance music at its most over the top and excessive, taking the KLF's concept of stadium house to its extreme. Led by austere frontman H.P. Baxxter, the majority of the group's songs feature gigantic singalong choruses (often referencing a wide spectrum of both pop and underground hits), crowd noise, and the loudest, most booming beats imaginable. Starting by producing happy hardcore and hard trance, the highly prolific group's sound has rapidly evolved with the times, incorporating dance music trends such as jumpstyle, dubstep, and electro-house. Their carnivalesque live shows involve lasers, pyrotechnics, dancers, and copious amounts of audience participation. Scooter have remained massively successful without signing to a major label, having released music on Edel imprint Club Tools during the '90s before starting their own Sheffield Tunes in 2000. Scooter were formed in late 1993 by H.P. Baxxter, Rick J. Jordan, and Ferris Bueller, who together with producer Jens Thele previously joined forces as remix team the Loop. During the 1980s, Baxxter and Jordan also scored a series of club hits as new wave/synth pop group Celebrate the Nun. Debuting with the single "Valleé de Larmes," Scooter scored their breakthrough hit with the follow-up "Hyper Hyper," which sold over 700,000 copies in Germany alone. A series of Top Five hits followed, including "Move Your Ass!," "Friends," and "Endless Summer" (all later collected on the trio's 1995 debut LP, ...And the Beat Goes On!). With 1996's Our Happy Hardcore, Scooter also scored their first British Top 20 hit, "Back in the U.K." Wicked! appeared later that same year, and featured tracks significantly slower than their earlier material, including the techno ballad "Break It Up." In the wake of 1997's Age of Love, Bueller exited Scooter, and was replaced by Axel Coon for 1998's No Time to Chill, which featured the smash hit "How Much Is the Fish?," as well as covers of songs by Kiss and Billy Idol. The group's first singles collection, Rough & Tough & Dangerous, also appeared in 1998. Back to the Heavyweight Jam followed in 1999; the album's title is one of Scooter's many blatant references to the KLF. The album Sheffield appeared in 2000, inaugurating the band's Sheffield Tunes label, and contained the club hits "She's the Sun" and "I'm Your Pusher" along with a cover version of Soft Cell's "Sex Dwarf." We Bring the Noise appeared in 2001 while 2002 saw the release of a live album, Encore, and the singles compilation Push the Beat for This Jam. The latter included "Ramp! (The Logical Song)," Scooter's dance remake of the Supertramp hit, which ended up becoming their biggest hit in the U.K., charting at number two. Another singles collection, 24 Carat Gold, appeared by the end of 2002, including "Nessaja," the group's first single to feature Jay Frog, who had replaced Coon. The track was another success, topping the German singles chart and reaching the Top Five in the U.K. Three Scooter singles -- "Weekend!," "Maria," and "Jigga! Jigga!" -- filled Euro clubs in 2003 and the full-length Stadium Techno Experience paid further tribute to the KLF in both title and cover art. The band's 2004 release, Mind the Gap, was originally released in a "basic" edition, came out a few months later in a "regular" edition with some multimedia tracks added, and was reissued in 2005 in a "deluxe" edition with a bonus live disc. Following 2005's Who's Got the Last Laugh Now? and 2006 live release Excess All Areas, Frog left and was replaced by Michael Simon, who had previously remixed a number of Scooter's tracks. Their incredibly prolific work rate continued unabated, with a new album almost every year (and two in 2007), a major world tour every couple of years, and a string of smash hits that made them the biggest-selling singles act in German chart history, including their 2007 track "The Question Is What Is the Question?," which spent a staggering 26 weeks on the chart. Its parent album, Jumping All Over the World, was one of the group's biggest successes, particularly in the U.K., where it hit number one and went platinum. The band's fame was such that Baxxter was asked to appear as a judge on the 2012 season of Germany's X Factor. The group celebrated two decades of hitmaking with 20 Years of Hardcore in late 2013. Jordan then announced that he would be leaving Scooter after the group's 2014 tour. His replacement, Phil Speiser, made his debut with Scooter on the group's 17th studio album, The Fifth Chapter. Ace appeared in 2016, followed by Scooter Forever in 2017. ~ Jason Ankeny & Paul Simpson

It's all about YouNotUs – the Berlin duo stood out with its name even before they had their first hit. But that wasn't long in coming either: just a few months after they founded their project, Tobias and Gregor – who met while studying in Berlin – achieved their first platinum success in 2015 with "@Supergirl". It was the kick-off for a remarkable career that has made YouNotUs one of the most relevant German dance acts in recent years. And that's both commercially and artistically. Because "@Please Tell Rosie", "@Only Thing We Know", "@Seventeen", "@Narcotic" or "@Your Favourite Song" – to name just a few songs from the past years – not only have hundreds of millions of streams between them, top 3 placements in the official German singles and/or airplay charts and gold and platinum awards around the clock; they also accomplish the feat of clearly bearing the signature of YouNotUs – fresh, innovative productions with the depth and atmosphere of deep house, the catchiness of a pop song and the underground appeal of a throbbing club night – and yet they never sound interchangeable.
Tobias and Gregor know: without the crowd in front of the stage, the party would never get started. And without the people who listen to their songs, the music would not be successful. "It's all about YOU, not us". In short: YouNotUs. They haven't forgotten why they gave themselves this name way back in the day.

Parra for Cuva's sonic identity can be encapsulated in a single word: Wanderlust. Renowned for a distinct sense of worldliness, his music forms a magical realm where the resonance of Caribbean steel drum may intertwine with ancient Zimbabwean instruments, set against melodic electronic soundscapes that transport the listener to distant lands. This openness has been a defining feature since the beginning of the German electronic producer and multi-instrumentalist's career. Upon relocating to Berlin, he continued his exploration, incorporating elements ranging from bells to flutes and kalimbas. Despite the refinement of his skills and the maturation of his sound, his music retains a starry-eyed quality that embodies the spirit of adventure. With chart-topping singles and two acclaimed albums, <a href="spotify:album:3yqXmUl7LHm7VUdnlOrwq1" data-name="Majouré">Majouré</a> (2014) and <a href="spotify:album:1mIXU3ikVRIVUpNYLjHDQz" data-name="Darwis">Darwis</a> (2016), Parra for Cuva's breakthrough came with the release of <a href="spotify:album:3MU6jFjtsZGqZifGaJqE6z" data-name="Paspatou">Paspatou</a> (2018). Unafraid to blend dance floor experimentations with acoustic and ethnic soundscapes, his fourth studio album, <a href="spotify:album:1eQxkBCBAwikauTxmYDjB9" data-name="Juno">Juno</a> (2021), involved collaborations with musicians from around the world. Drawing comparisons to contemporaries like Christian Löffler and Max Cooper, known for infusing electronic productions with warm, often melancholic analog sounds, Parra for Cuva has graced prestigious festivals and sold-out stages globally, including Burning Man and Sziget. Anticipated in 2024, his upcoming album, Mimose, promises a captivating sonic journey with exciting collaborations.

What defines the <a href="spotify:artist:5nkYRuiIHg2xXHFC8bfosJ" data-name="ItaloBrothers">ItaloBrothers</a> music? Depending on who you’re asking, responses will vary considerably. Obviously their global success with <a href="spotify:track:4VTRlB4KVaNfm7ZbMOKLNT" data-name="Stamp on the Ground - Radio Edit">Stamp on the Ground - Radio Edit</a> in 2009 is still ringing in the ears of club-goers as a “Made in Germany” mega dance hit. But observant contemporaries have long been aware that the follow-up hits of the three creative masterminds from northern Germany became too powerful to be pinned down by a mere dance/club/hands-up genre definition. How else could you explain the <a href="spotify:artist:5nkYRuiIHg2xXHFC8bfosJ" data-name="ItaloBrothers">ItaloBrothers</a> playing gigs on both sides of the pond, from Chicago to Olso, for up to 60,000 ecstatic people who wouldn’t have otherwise found their way into a club? Their success story continued in 2013 with <a href="spotify:track:3jxj5SQCjfIqY494LZYUNs" data-name="This Is Nightlife - Video Edit">This Is Nightlife - Video Edit</a> In 2015 producer Hanno Lohse, a.k.a. <a href="spotify:artist:5a7NCcDaPNZ8KBdYfdm6v3" data-name="Cody Island">Cody Island</a>, joined the team and immediately made contributions to the song “Springfield,” a track created in collaboration with DJ and producer <a href="spotify:artist:46mGxneffUCmDhMU1m6zYu" data-name="Tungevaag">Tungevaag</a>. The followup, <a href="spotify:track:0V9cosR5jWa4fr2koARmhD" data-name="Summer Air">Summer Air</a> was heavily inspired by tropical house and future bass. The piece impressively underlined the orientation towards a dance-based song format, which clearly pointed more towards pop than club music. The success of the re-release of that single in 2017 rewarded their ceaseless drive for grand slams: Top 5 in Scandinavia, Top 10 in the German-speaking countries, earned multiple platinum honors in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, went gold in Germany, and was played 150 million times on Spotify.

Berlin’s Paul Kalkbrenner has charted a career path like no other. A techno talent, who over the course of two decades has emerged from the underground, to top charts, act in and soundtrack a movie, headline festivals and amass millions of fans, all while refusing to compromise his grand techno sound. Kalkbrenner came of age in a golden era of techno, turning twelve when the Berlin Wall fell, and spending his teenage years raving, before starting to DJing and collect records as electronic dance music’s first tidal wave spilled throughout the city. He realized early that DJing wasn’t for him, and has focused on producing and playing his own music live ever since. Though he rose to popularity in the peak of techno’s ‘Berlin era’, and his early career was associated with Bpitch Control, his fan base was never confined to this scene. By the time he played the lead in the seminal movie ‘Berlin Calling’ and its soundtrack smashed records across Europe he had already released multiple albums (Superimpose, Zeit, Self) and built a significant following globally. Traditionally known as an album artist for much of his career, releasing eight LPs, registering 3 No.1 overall records and entering the Top 10 overall charts in 10 countries and selling 1.5 million units, Kalkbrenner has experimented with other formats including a viral mixtape compilation (Back To The Future - downloaded upwards of 3 million times), and more recently a spate of singles, No Goodbye, Speak Up and Parachute.

German electro-house producer Tujamo (aka Matthias Richter) is a globally celebrated, charting musician whose unique take on dance music, "the Eastern Sound," is often considered by critics to be a genre of its own. His singles have charted globally, and his downtempo anthems have driven dancefloors from China to Russia and New York to L.A. He developed a passion for music in his teens. He began DJ'ing at age 17 and just a year later, in 2006, won a talent competition at one of Germany's most famous nightclubs, Club Index in Schüttorf, where he went on to become a resident DJ. That same year he began producing tracks under the Tujamo alias, releasing his debut single, "Mombasa," in 2011. His first dance chart hit came the following year with "Who," produced in conjunction with fellow Germans Plastik Funk. The tune was played out by big names like Avicii and became a huge hit at Miami house music mecca the Winter Music Conference. In 2013, he had his first mainstream hit with "Boneless," a collaboration with Steve Aoki and Chris Lake, which went to number 49 on the German singles chart. In 2014 his biggest hit yet came when the reworked "Who," retitled "Dr. Who" and featuring British rapper Sneakbo, hit number 21 on the U.K. singles chart. Also making a name for himself as a remixer for the likes of Bob Sinclar, Peter Gelderblom, and Wynter Gordon, he played all over Germany and internationally, including a tour of South America. In 2018, his single "With U (feat. Karen Harding)" was picked by an international group of streaming services and ran up the digital charts. ~ John D. Buchanan

The effervescent club music of producer Mousse T (Mustafa Gündogdu) blends disco and house along with taste and camp into a sparkling mix that has spawned such hits as "Horny" and "Sex Bomb." Born in Hagen, Germany of Turkish decent, Mustafa moved to Hanover in 1990 to join the band Fun Key B on keyboards, build his own studio, and moonlight as a DJ. In 1993 he formed the label/production house Peppermint Jam with partner <a href="spotify:artist:5m5y96CZyjvjBp1kV08Gzk">Errol Rennalls</a>. He spent the next few years releasing his own rousing house music and some cool acid jazz on Peppermint Jam 12"s while producing and remixing the likes of <a href="spotify:artist:3fMbdgg4jU18AjLCKBhRSm">Michael Jackson</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:1fa0cOhromAZdq2xRA4vv8">Simply Red</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:6uGKydhYXrVOEXM6QbVzyH">Amber</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:0o0rlxlC3ApLWsxFkUjMXc">Ziggy Marley</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:54R6Y0I7jGUCveDTtI21nb">Boney M</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:1twC2fwPG5FkvYcMpVBQRz">Randy Crawford</a>. In 1998 he had his breakthrough hit when "Horny," featuring vocals by the female duo Hot 'N' Juicy, dominated clubs worldwide. While his remix of <a href="spotify:artist:4aaBjq7VqqQvpSF69GglvO">Moloko</a>'s "Sing It Back" was storming up the charts that same year, "Horny" was appearing on numerous compilations, from Gay Happening, Vol. 6 to Chef Aid: The South Park Album. A year later he teamed with the legendary <a href="spotify:artist:1T0wRBO0CK0vK8ouUMqEl5">Tom Jones</a> for another smash, "Sex Bomb," which would be featured on <a href="spotify:artist:1T0wRBO0CK0vK8ouUMqEl5">Jones</a>' album Reload. Both "Horny" and "Sex Bomb" would appear in drastically different versions on his jazzy and lounge-flavored album Gourmet de Funk released in 2002. His 2004 full-length All Nite Madness was introduced by another club hit, "Is It 'Cos I'm Cool?" Two years later "Horny" would invade the dancefloor once again but this time cheeky producers Loo & Placido mashed it together with <a href="spotify:artist:7siPLyFwRFYQkKgWKJ5Sod">the Dandy Warhols</a>' single "Bohemian Like You." Titled "Horny as a Dandy," the cut was another dance compilation favorite. ~ David Jeffries, Rovi

For Solomun, music isn’t just a tool to make people dance. Music is as diverse as life itself: many different shades, moments, and memories to be made. Music triggers emotions and vice versa, and this sort of interrelation - with Solomun representing the music and the audience emotions - is what casts the spell around his performances.
His “Solomun +1” residency at Pacha Ibiza started in quite a laid-back fashion – with him doing his own thing, moving the DJ booth into the centre of the club to be close to the people on the dancefloor instead of the usual high podium, and introducing a fairly unheard-of concept on the Island: a night together with only one friend. Since its commencement in 2013, “Solomun +1” has long become an Ibiza household name, with its “Solomun +LIVE” offshoot on the Island and +1 editions all over the world, be it Berlin, New York or Tulum.
The same energy was what kicked off his music label Diynamic in 2006: A band of brothers with similar ideas, taste in music, and the volition to support each other. And, looking back, Diynamic turned out to be the stepping stone for many artists’ careers.
All of this started somewhere small, but by being himself, an honest entertainer in the truest sense of the word, not a stage persona.
He proved that the music is more important than the place it’s played at, because his sets, remixes and productions are bringing people together. And always, he is sending the same message: “Nobody is not loved.

Born in East Berlin 1981 Fritz Kalkbrenner was deeply impressed by the mid 90s Berlin Techno. In 2008 he started to work with his brother Paul on "Sky & Sand" for the legendary movie "Berlin Calling". Afterwards Fritz made his own soulful and deep electronic music. His debut album „Here Today Gone Tomorrow” was released in 2010 on Suol with great feedback. With that response he started playing live and delivered his first Top10 album „Sick Travellin’” in 2012. With him singing on „Get a Life” or „Little by Little” Fritz Kalkbrenner created singles which made their way to radio. It took him two more years for his next Top 10 album „Ways over Water” and his single success „Back Home” which got massive airplay and reached the German Top 20. He came back to Berlin after many liveshows with lots of ideas to do new music which got released in 2016 as „Grand Départ”. Out on Suol the 4th album went again Top 10 and putted him in the top league of electronic music artists. After impressive TV broadcasts Fritz needed a new direction. He headed back to underground House music which resulted in the epic 2018 „Drown” album. This led to the next step for Fritz Kalkbrenner by starting his own label „Nasua Music” early 2019. For this he started producing fresh music with a new crew of talented people. In 2020 he released his 6th studio album „True Colours“. "King Curtis" a pure instrumental followed in 2021. Fall 2022, the new single "In the Morning" is released.

BIO

One of the most iconic DJs and producers in dance music history, Paul van Dyk has been synonymous with trance since the mid-'90s. With early productions like his 1993 remix of <a href="spotify:artist:4XS20v9WPvT0OnCtIiC79Q">Humate</a>'s "Love Stimulation" and the 1994 classic "For an Angel," he blended minor-key melodies with ecstatic beats, helping to establish the progressive trance sound that would become inescapable by the end of the decade. As dance music increased in mainstream popularity throughout the world, and the phenomenon of superclubs emerged, van Dyk became immensely successful, regularly selling out venues around the globe. Around 2000, van Dyk began collaborating with vocalists more frequently, resulting in his biggest pop hits, including the U.K. Top Ten-charting "Tell Me Why (The Riddle)" featuring <a href="spotify:artist:1N2FgBLehaq77UEdJhCt7f">Saint Etienne</a>. He continued to infiltrate the mainstream through his remixes of pop stars like <a href="spotify:artist:26dSoYclwsYLMAKD3tpOr4">Britney Spears</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:31TPClRtHm23RisEBtV3X7">Justin Timberlake</a>. He also became more politically active, speaking openly against war and initiating a series of releases titled The Politics of Dancing in 2001. By the mid-2000s, he was regularly receiving high-profile recognition in the form of a Grammy nomination and awards from various dance publications. He remained highly productive throughout the 2010s, releasing albums such as 2012's Evolution and 2017's From Then On, in addition to hosting his weekly VONYC Sessions mix show and remaining an in-demand club and festival DJ. A native of a German town near Frankfurt, van Dyk first heard house music on the radio during the mid-'80s. Soon he was experimenting with a rudimentary turntable setup, and after hitting Berlin, he gigged around the city. By 1991, he had appeared at the legendary Tresor club; he later set up his own E-Werk club, and debuted on record as Visions of Shiva, with fellow trance wizard <a href="spotify:artist:0M1Av3uQ1sepW2uPdJdMEA">Cosmic Baby</a>. He remixed for <a href="spotify:artist:0yNLKJebCb8Aueb54LYya3">New Order</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:4XS20v9WPvT0OnCtIiC79Q">Humate</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:5TQaBSTOSypp7S4jfSnN3F">Sven Väth</a>, and others, then signed to the German <a href="spotify:search:label%3A%22MFS+Records%22">MFS Records</a> for his first album, 1994's 45 RPM, which included the original version of the perennial club favorite "For an Angel." By the midpoint of the '90s, van Dyk had become a globe-trotting DJ and remixer. His second album, Seven Ways, resulted in British and German dance chart entries for the singles "Beautiful Place," "Forbidden Fruit," and "Words" (featuring <a href="spotify:artist:1k92N0jplAxEijUxiecNDk">Toni Halliday</a> of <a href="spotify:artist:6WYkr1SJofUO79alKPjop0">Curve</a>). While both of his albums were issued in America during 1998, van Dyk added two remix collections, Perspective and Vorsprung Dyk Technik, to his discography. The year 2000 saw the release of third full-length Out There and Back, which contained some of his most popular songs, including "We Are Alive" and the <a href="spotify:artist:1N2FgBLehaq77UEdJhCt7f">Saint Etienne</a> collaboration "Tell Me Why (The Riddle)." As a follow-up to global club dates in support of those releases, van Dyk released the EP Columbia in 2001, in addition to his first mix album, The Politics of Dancing. After a relatively quiet 2002 (on the recording front), van Dyk returned with a mix-album/greatest-hits/DVD (Global), the soundtrack to a film (Zurdo), and a new production album (Reflections, which reached the Top Ten of the German album charts). He released the second volume of his Politics of Dancing mix-album series in 2005 and returned with another guest-heavy, pop-minded studio album, In Between, in 2007. The remix effort Hands on In Between followed a year later, and live DJ gigs, remix work for others, and his own mix albums kept van Dyk from releasing a studio effort for the next four years. He returned in 2012 with the album Evolution, along with the single "Eternity" featuring <a href="spotify:search:label%3A%22Owl+City%22">Owl City</a> frontman <a href="spotify:artist:2Dr744zaEbNqmW9jxw4gfq">Adam Young</a>. A year later he issued the (R)evolution: The Remixes collection, while 2015 brought The Politics of Dancing, Vol. 3, a proper album rather than a mix CD. After issuing the collaborative single "Berlinition" with <a href="spotify:artist:0gjLxpTbe5HoswzDI1YsIF">Chris Bekker</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:1xV6HGVYZylxPoYZhySDg1">Chris Montana</a> in 2016, van Dyk released the full-length From Then On, which arrived in late 2017. Music Rescues Me appeared one year later, and the single "Shine Ibiza Anthem 2019" was released in conjunction with van Dyk's weekly residency at Ibiza's Eden club. ~ John Bush, Rovi

Sometimes music is all about the numbers, and when Modeselektor (Gernot Bronsert, Sebastian Szary) and Apparat (Sascha Ring) come together as one, a brilliant new entity is brought into the world: Moderat. It was in 2002 that Sascha, Gernot and Sebastian first met, and at the time, both Apparat and Modeselektor were well established in the Berlin music scene. Moderat debuted in 2003 with the Auf Kosten der Gesundheit EP, and then needed another six years to release the self-titled debut album. Following the rapturous response to their first album, Moderat released the soberly titled II in 2013. The album kicked off a frantic few years, with Sascha, Szary and Gernot touring the globe and each new Moderat single seemingly making a bigger impact than the last. A third album, III, was released in 2016, and after another intense spate of touring—not to mention the release of the band’s Live LP—the group announced that they would be taking an extended break following a final concert in their hometown of Berlin in September 2017 in front of 17.000 people. Five years later, Moderat have returned with a new album, MORE D4TA, and a new live show. Despite the long layoff—and the fact that the LP was largely created during a time when touring (and most traveling) was off the table—the record is quintessential Moderat. Moderat is not a conceptual outfit, and never has been, and MORE D4TA showcases a group that’s creatively recharged and fully dedicated to its craft.

German DJ/producer Tensnake – aka Marco Niemerski, has been wreaking beautiful havoc on the world’s dance floors, releasing house and disco bombs. Drawing inspiration from soul, boogie, funk and 80s pop, giving him a very unique and inimitable sound. You can hear this in 2010’s “Coma Cat”, one of the biggest house records of the last decade. He is also the label boss of his own ‘True Romance’ imprint and has DJed all over the world at Coachella, Glastonbury and Tomorrowland. He has released with some of house music’s finest labels, including Running Back, Defected and Permanent Vacation. In 2014, he unleashed his acclaimed debut artist album Glow, including collaborations with Jamie Liddell, MNEK, and Nile Rodgers. He now introduces its long-anticipated follow-up sophomore album L.A. The new album L.A., named after the city that, until recently, he called home, introduces the wider world to a different take on the Tensnake sound, one that has a distinct pop flavor. L.A. shows Tensnake’s breadth of production and inspiration across a sprawling 16-track expanse, where if you close your eyes, you can imagine yourself at the wheel of a Mustang convertible, arcing blue skies above, heading down palm-lined boulevards. Listen out for The Pointer Sisters’ classic, “Automatic,” the euphoric “Somebody Else” the fluid bassline and clipped guitars of “Antibodies” and through to “Adam’s Hill”, this album, says Marco, was about him “…evolving, about getting better”.

ALEX M.O.R.P.H.: “Music is the key. Melodies are the path. Beats are universal”. Since the mid 90s Alex M.O.R.P.H has set out to shapeshift within the dance scene as per his alias, leaving no facet of trance unturned and showing the top of the tree is a position that he’s grown rather fond of. Even in a time where stats and streams, followers and figures are pushed to the front, the maths behind M.O.R.P.H’s staying power are frankly mind-boggling. ‘Not All Superheroes Wear Capes’ said the man on his high respected album – but M.O.R.P.H. is deserving of honours fit for a king. “Passion, discipline, a lot of hard work, and most importantly the love for music”, ensure his crown never slips. From collaborations with Paul van Dyk and Armin van Buuren (both of whom have always repped M.O.R.P.H. to the fullest), to remixes of Dash Berlin, Gareth Emery, Aly & Fila and Faithless, M.O.R.P.H. is the epitome of can’t stop-won’t stop, earning VIP entry to the globe’s most in-demand clubs and arenas as he continues with the energy and passion since day one. It’s telling that M.O.R.P.H. being the first and only German DJ to play New York’s legendary Madison Square Garden, puts his touring and gig commitments in a different league considering his knocking-out-the-park performances at Cream Ibiza, Mayday, Ultra Music Festival and the ubiquitous A State of Trance spectaculars. Oliver Koletzki is a producer and DJ in the genres of electronic dance, hip-hop, pop, and house. Studying music at the Humboldt University in Berlin and working as a composer for commercials, Koletzki self-released a white-label pressing of his techno track "Der Mückenschwarm," which was heard by Sven Väth, who signed Koletzki to his Cocoon label and re-released the cut. The song was then selected as the "track of the year" in a reader's poll by German magazine Groove in 2005 and later remixed by artists such as Dominik Eulberg and Pig & Dan. Koletzki founded his own label, Stil vor Talent, in September 2005. His first DJ mix CD, The Process, was released in 2006, followed by his proper debut album, Get Wasted, in 2007. His sophomore album, the Berlin-inspired Großstadtmärchen, was issued in 2009, followed by a pop-leaning collaboration album with singer Fran titled Lovestoned in 2010. Koletzki's third album, Großstadtmärchen 2, was released in 2012 and entered the German charts at number 19. In 2013, Stil vor Talent introduced a compilation series titled Schneeweiß. Named after a popular Berlin restaurant, the albums' tracks were compiled by Koletzki with the eatery's patrons in mind. Koletzki's fourth solo studio album, I Am OK, appeared in 2014, and also hit the German album charts. In 2016, Koletzki celebrated his label's ten-year anniversary with the compilation 10 Years Stil vor Talent. The following year, he returned with his fifth solo release, The Arc of Tension, and also curated another volume of the Schneeweiß series. ~ Christian Genzel

The son of a jazz trombone player, Boris Dlugosch established his own legacy as one of Europe's top DJs and producers. In addition to producing the remix hits "Keep Pushin'" in 1996 and "Hold Your Head Up High," the following year, Dlugosch has brought remix success to Moloko, Michael Watford, Edesio, Djaimin, DeMage, and the Jasper Street Co.. Dlugosch continued to DJ every Saturday night at Germany's premier house music club, the Front, where he launched his career in 1986. As the club's booking manager during the '90s, he introduced German audiences to such American artists as Frankie Knuckles, Masters at Work, Roger S., David Morales, DJ Pierre, DJ Disciple, and Deep Dish. While his early work was inspired by American R&B artists including James Brown, Marvin Gaye and the Commodores, and British rock bands, Dlugosch began to incorporate hip-hop and funk influences in the late '80s. Shortly after agreeing to host a Saturday night show for N-Joy Radio in 1994, Dlugosch made his first forays into the recording studio. Working with New York producer Lem Springsteen, he scored hits with remixes of Moloko's "Sing It Back" and Hot 'N' Juicy's "Horny." Although his 1996 release, "Keep On Pushin'," became an international dance hit, "Hold Your Head Up High" did even better a year later. A video of the tune was placed in rotation on MTV and the European music TV station Viva. Dlugosch opened his own recording studio in Hamburg in the summer of 1997. ~ Craig Harris

Nils Frahm is a German composer and musician whose work combines acoustic and electronic instruments with a primary focus on pianos and synthesizers. His recordings range from solo and prepared piano compositions to melodic synthesizer pieces, as well as soundtrack work. Frahm's debut LP, Streichelfisch, combining heavy electronic glitch with acoustic instruments, was released in 2005 on his AtelierMusik label. My First EP followed in 2006, and Electric Piano, marking Frahm's shift to piano-based works, arrived in 2008. Two more solo piano works, Wintermusik (on Sonic Pieces) and The Bells (on Kning Disc), were well received. Frahm began collaborating with many electronic and modern classical artists, including F.S. Blumm, Machinefabriek, Peter Broderick, and Anne Müller. The 2011 solo album Felt, featuring heavily atmospheric prepared piano compositions, arrived on Erased Tapes (home to most of Frahm's subsequent releases), along with the synthesizer-based single "Juno." The minimalist piano album Screws followed in 2012, and Frahm collaborated with Ólafur Arnalds on the Stare EP the same year. Juno Reworked, a 12" EP featuring both tracks from the "Juno" single as well as remixes by Luke Abbott and Clark, appeared in 2013. Spaces, a live album consisting of field recordings of Frahm's performances over the course of two years, appeared toward the end of 2013, and was his most acclaimed recording to date, receiving high praise from numerous publications. His 2015 album, Solo, was initially released for free on March 29, a day Frahm declared to be "World Piano Day." He composed his first film score for the German single-take film Victoria in 2015. Later that year, Frahm produced an eclectic mix as part of the Late Night Tales mix CD series. In early 2016, he revisited his Screws album with Screws Reworked, a selection of remixes from fans and fellow musicians, handpicked by Frahm himself. During the year, R&S released two albums by Nonkeen, an experimental trio consisting of Frahm and childhood friends Frederic Gmeiner and Sepp Singwald. Also during 2016, he released collaborations with Ólafur Arnalds (Trance Frendz), F.S. Blumm (Tag Eins Tag Zwei), and Woodkid (Ellis [Original Motion Picture Soundtrack]). After spending two years building a studio in Berlin, Frahm returned with the solo album All Melody in 2018, followed by a world tour. ~ Paul Simpson

When people use the name of an artist to describe a particular style of music, it's fair to say that this artist is pretty influential. Neelix achieved this status. Looking back, his 2005 album “No Way To Leave” marks a turning point in the history of Progressive Trance. Neelix took the open-minded idea of this genre one step further and mixed bouncy offbeat rhythms with elements from a huge bandwidth of styles, such as Progressive House, Electro, Tech House and even Pop. The result took dancefloors worldwide by storm and made him one of the most-demanded artists of today’s scene - and one of the few producers who even drew the attention of other scenes, as well. Bookings to festival like Tomorrowland, Nature One, Boom, Dream State or Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) speak for themselves. Whenever people talk about “Neelix Sound”, they refer to a highly dynamic take on party music that has inspired a whole generation of producers.

Insta: @somma_dj SOMMA thoughtfully achieves to embody the perfect intersection of underground authenticity and mass appeal. Initially pursuing a more open form of deep house while still in the process of seeking artistic fulfillment, he eventually found his thing and transitioned to a more sophisticated and mature sound, mainly blending groovy rhythms with soulful writing. It didn’t take long until fellow artists started noticing his pristine writing and production skills, receiving spins around the world from the likes of <a href="spotify:artist:5mIowAJMp7RKNheelruV5z" data-name="&ME">&ME</a> , <a href="spotify:artist:02DWGcShQivFepRvGJ7xhB" data-name="Adriatique">Adriatique</a> , <a href="spotify:artist:6zsJjoCtL1WByG0VsuFWzR" data-name="BLOND:ISH">BLOND:ISH</a> , <a href="spotify:artist:1tRBmMtER4fGrzrt8O9VpS" data-name="Hot Since 82">Hot Since 82</a> , <a href="spotify:artist:6vJvFV1A2CpT8s5B1oUN6t" data-name="DJ Tennis">DJ Tennis</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:6wMr4zKPrrR0UVz08WtUWc" data-name="Black Coffee">Black Coffee</a> and more. And it doesn't stop here: SOMMA is striving to be on the forefront of a cultural movement with his creative collective and label <a href="spotify:artist:0JguaqQNo1CgVjFqtIXyGR" data-name="LE YORA">LE YORA</a> (together with JEWELS and YUMA): “LE YORA is a world we’re building that allows us to express ourselves with no boundaries. Everything you see on this brand, whether it’s the music, the artworks, the clothes - it’s all designed by us and us only. We’re songwriters, we’re designers, we’re DJs… we’re creatives of many mediums and this allows us to fill in that grey area between what it means to be a DJ versus to be an artist.”
