Austrian alternative singer/songwriter Anja Plaschg made her critically acclaimed album debut as Soap & Skin in 2009 as a teenager and experienced Top Five commercial success in her homeland. Born on April 5, 1990, in Gnas, Austria, and raised on a pig farm, Plaschg began writing and performing music on piano as a teenager and ultimately went on to study at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna. She made her commercial recording debut as Soap & Skin in 2008 with an eponymous four-track EP. The following year, at age 18, she released her debut album, Lovetune for Vacuum, on the Pias Recordings label. Comprised of songs written between 2005 and 2008, Lovetune for Vacuum spawned a pair of hit singles ("Spiracle," "Mr. Gaunt Pt. 1000") and reached the Top Five of the albums chart in Austria. Released internationally, the album also charted in France and Belgium. In general, reviews of Lovetune for Vacuum were favorable, often drawing comparisons between Plaschg and celebrated female singer/songwriters such as Cat Power, Nico, Kate Bush, and Björk. 2010 saw her win the European Breaker Borders Award for international success. The following year saw a quiet period for the artist as she focused on writing further material and other creative endeavors. In 2012 she made her debut as an actress in the German movie Stilleben. She then retreated from the industry for a number of years to focus on her personal life before returning with her third album -- From Gas to Solid/You Are My Friend -- in mid-2018. ~ Jason Birchmeier, Rovi

The evocatively named house production duo Klangkarussell -- which translates to English as "Sound Carousel" -- was formed in Salzburg, Austria by Tobias Rieser and Adrian Held. While Rieser originally used the name for his solo project, Held worked under the name i herald until the pair teamed up. The jazz-tinged instrumental "Sonnentanz" was issued in 2012 and eventually reached the Top Ten in six different countries, even hitting the number one spot in the Netherlands. When a vocal version -- retitled "Sonnentanz (Sun Don't Shine)" and featuring British soul singer Will Heard -- was released the following summer, the track charted in both the U.K. and Ireland. The song was one of the first hits of what soon came to be known as tropical house, a laid-back, summery variation on deep house often utilizing live instruments. In 2014, the duo released their second single, "Netzwerk (Falls Like Rain)," which featured vocalist Tom Cane. The song also became a hit, and set the stage for the duo's debut full-length, Netzwerk, which appeared soon after. In 2015, the duo released a third version of their debut single, this time titled "Sun Don't Shine" and featuring vocalist Jaymes Young. Singles "Hey Maria" and "In the Crowd Alone" appeared in 2016, followed by "Time," "Circuits," and "Good to Go" in 2017. ~ James Wilkinson, Rovi

Austrian drum'n'bass duo Camo & Krooked were founded in 2007. Both Camo (born Reinhard Rietsch on April 23, 1983 in Salzburg) and Krooked (born Markus Wagner on July 31, 1989 in Lilienfeld) had been active since 2002, before they teamed up and released their first singles from 2008 onward. Their first album, Above & Beyond, was released in 2010 and introduced their blend of drum'n'bass enriched with house, dubstep, and fun. At that year's Drum & Bass Arena Awards, they won the Best Newcomer DJ award. Their sophomore album, Cross the Line, appeared a year later on Hospital Records, and a remix album, Between the Lines, followed in 2012. With the release of their third studio album, Zeitgeist, in 2013, Camo & Krooked made their debut in the Austrian album charts, coming in at number 22. The duo became well-known for their patented "anti-drop" style, and their profile gradually increased as they performed all over the world, released a slew of singles, and turned in numerous remixes for everyone from Metronomy to Lana Del Rey. Their fourth album would not appear until 2017, as they toiled to create a fresh sound. Entitled Mosaik and released on Ram Records, it was pop-oriented and melodic, stadium drum'n'bass stripped back to its essence. The single "If I Could" featured previously unknown British singer Joe Killington. ~ John D. Buchanan, Rovi

BIO

Dorian Concept is the alias of Oliver Johnson, a native of Vienna, Austria who arrived during the latter half of the 2000s amid a wave of bedroom-bound experimental beatmakers. Johnson made a name for himself with his mastery of the microKORG synthesizer, showcased on his debut album, When Planets Explode (2009), and challenged himself with a change of approach for each successive album, as heard on Joined Ends (2014) and The Nature of Imitation (2018). Despite varying working methods, virtually all of Johnson's output is to some extent jerky and animated. No recluse, he quickly went from producing tracks in solitude to performing with the Cinematic Orchestra at the Royal Albert Hall, and has also performed and/or recorded with Flying Lotus and Thundercat. As a teenager, Oliver Johnson learned piano and saxophone, and started using production software prior to getting involved with synthesizers. While studying multimedia art at Salzburg University of Applied Sciences, Johnson issued the first Dorian Concept recordings digitally and uploaded a popular video of himself improvising with a microKORG. Through friend Paul Movahedi (aka the Clonious), unreleased material reached Benji B, who spread the word via airwaves, clubs, and fellow BBC DJs Gilles Peterson and Mary Anne Hobbs, who also became early supporters. By the end of 2009, Johnson had put his studies on hold and already had a considerable discography, including a handful of brief statements on vinyl and the full-length When Planets Explode, released on Kindred Spirits subsidiary Nod Navigators. He had also appeared on a slew of compilations, most significantly the Rush Hour label's Beat Dimensions, Vol. 2, on which his company included contemporaries such as Samiyam, Mono/Poly, and Devonwho. Flying Lotus, another admirer, added him to his live band. More doors opened for Johnson in 2010, during which he was heard on Flying Lotus' "Satelllliiiiiiiteee" (off Cosmogramma), contributed "Her Tears Taste Like Pears" to the Ninja Tune XX compilation, and performed with the Cinematic Orchestra at Ninja Tune's 20th anniversary event at the Royal Albert Hall. "Her Tears Taste Like Pears" became the basis of a like-titled Ninja Tune EP in 2011. Three years later, after additional recordings and performances with Flying Lotus, Thundercat, and the Cinematic Orchestra, Johnson completed his second full-length, Joined Ends. Released on Ninja Tune in 2014, the album deviated from the debut, with sounds from a battery of different analog synthesizers and an electric Wurlitzer piano. Once touring commitments wound down, Johnson withdrew for a few years and recorded a third album with a comparatively traditional approach to making contemporary electronic music. The Nature of Imitation, featuring the sound of Johnson's heavily processed vocals and bearing the logo of Flying Lotus' Brainfeeder label, broke a four-year silence in 2018. ~ Andy Kellman, Rovi

London-based songwriter and electronic musician Toph Taylor started releasing music as SOHN in 2012, beginning with a few tracks online that eventually led to a 12" on the Aesop label called The Wheel. SOHN's sound melded soulful singer/songwriter fare with abstract electronic beats, gaining immediate acclaim and plenty of press exposure. He was quickly signed to 4AD, which released several singles leading up to debut album Tremors, released in April of 2014. Prior to the album's release, Taylor worked on remixes and other various collaborations with artists like Rhye and Lana Del Rey. For his sophomore studio album, 2016's Rennen, Taylor took a more concise approach, preferring to highlight the vocal and melodic elements by utilizing fewer layers on every track. In early 2018, ahead of his European tour, Taylor issued a pair of moody, downtempo singles, "Hue" and "Nil." ~ Fred Thomas

Tosca is the partnership between Richard Dorfmeister (of the trip-hop production team Kruder & Dorfmeister) and fellow producer Rupert Huber. Recording for K&D's G-Stone label, the outfit released five lush studio albums between 1997 and 2009, including Opera, Dehli9, and No Hassle (with the exception of No Hassle, all of them featured vocal collaborations), as well as a series of remix compilations. Their 2013 effort Odeon brought vocals back into the mix and was their first album for the !K7 label. They stuck with the label for 2014's Outta Here but drastically jumped genres on the album, trading their traditional downtempo sound for a more glittery version of neo-disco. 2017's Going Going Going saw Tosca returning to their roots, delivering a mercurial set of house, ambient, and funk-informed instrumentals. ~ John Bush, Rovi

The K&D story is not just a story of refusal and renunciation. As the two started making music together in the early 1990s, there was hardly anything that the two didn’t do “wrong”, and therefore, exactly right. At the time, Vienna was a metropolis of the aspiring techno movement and was active, during the initial heyday of the revolutionary style. But the two gentlemen, K&D, rather followed the tradition of the continental cosmic “dancefloor” of the 1980s, which searched for a universal language of dance music, influenced by hip hop, rare groove, dub, new wave and last but not least, of music that stood out between all those categories. As the first post-acid jazz productions of labels like Ninja Tune or Mo Wax heralded a new era, K&D were again already a step ahead. After their groundbreaking debut “G-Stoned” offers came pouring in like heavy rainfall in a mid summers day, but the two stubborn gentlemen didn’t play along: after the success of their “DJ-Kicks” and “Sessions” albums, which sold millions worldwide, they turned down most of them. K&D always enjoyed not following advice and abandoned all of the enticing major offers, all of the promises of full-speed marketing machinery. Instead, they provided musician friends with distribution on their G-Stone label and put together follow-up projects, like Dorfmeister’s Tosca or Kruder’s Peace Orchestra. Now the time felt right to open a new chapter in the book, written in K&D‘s own language: universal, global, unifying.

Louie has been around for longer than you may realise. He has leaped from thriving as an enigmatic night club crooner to one of the most exhilarating performers electronic music has to offer and this being in his 60ies! Part of Louie Austen’s appeal lies in the fact that he has not entirely discarded the entertainer in this metamorphosis. He is a mediator who mixes various genres, some of which were previously regarded as incompatible. For several years now he has managed to resolve alleged contradictions and break down prejudices – jazz and dance beats, advanced age and youth culture, smart style and underground. “In a way I stand for a kind of reconciliation“, he describes his unique position, “a bridge between old and new or between young and old.“ But how did it all get started? In 1999, the bustling Viennese Electro scene gives birth to a new and surprising idea. The Viennese electronic producer Patrick Pulsinger contrasts his experimental electronic tracks with Louie Austen’s velvety voice. He had run into the classic jazz crooner in a studio and immediately proposed a collaboration. Louie is intrigued by the electronic beats and sounds of the young generation. He has various new musical coops for 2021+ up his sleeve, stay tuned and get seriously electrotained!

An Austrian group that bridges trip-hop, dub, acid jazz, and post-rock, Sofa Surfers were founded by a quartet of sound-obsessed Viennese instrumentalists: Wolfgang Schlögl, Markus Kienzl, Wolfgang Frisch, and Michael Holzgruber. The group's debut single, "Sofa Rockers," emerged in 1997 and earned a remix from fellow Austrian head Richard Dorfmeister. Their debut album, Transit, received a wide release through MCA that same year. The follow-up, Cargo, was released by Klein Records in 1999, and a year later, Constructions: Sofa Surfers Remixed and Dubbed featured reworkings of their tunes by acts including Dorfmeister, Howie B, and Mad Professor. Sofa Surfers branched into film scoring with 2000's Komm, Süsser Tod (Come Sweet Death) before returning with their third proper studio album, 2002's Encounters. It was a concept album about xenophobia and artificial borders that included guests such as folk-blues singer/songwriter Jeb Loy Nichols, Pop Group/Maffia singer Mark Stewart, reggae's Junior Delgado, and hip-hop acts Dälek and Sensational. Sofa Surfers co-wrote the score for the 2003 thriller The Poet with Marcel Barsotti and were the sole composers on the 2004 crime film Silentium before issuing the eponymous Sofa Surfers in 2005. Scores for the documentary Life in Loops (A Megacities RMX) and the detective film Der Knochenmann (The Bone Man) followed in 2006 and 2009, respectively. The group then left Klein for Monoscope Productions, which released Blindside in 2010 as well as 2012's Superluminal and 2015's Scrambles, Anthems and Odysseys. Also in 2015, Sofa Surfers provided the music for the crime comedy Das Ewige Leben (Life Eternal). In 2017, Monoscope issued 20, a mix of original songs and reworked favorites in celebration of Sofa Surfers' 20 years together. ~ Marcy Donelson & John Bush, Rovi

Martin Van Lectro is one of the most aspiring Austrian electronic dance music artists. The outstanding success of his eagerly anticipated solo single “Never Know” which was released in February 2016 got to "Universal Music´s" attention who signed him shortly after. Only a year later Martin has founded his own label #Lectronation and released both hit singles “Let It Go” feat. Menno , “I´ll Be There for You“, "Kangaroo“, "Last Man Standing" feat. Chris Willis and "Run" “Night & Day” is an anthem to life and love. Released in summer 2020 it continues his streak of success as well as exploiting Martin´s diversity.
Martin Van Lectro’s  interest in music started at an early age. He was only eight when he enthusiastically started playing the piano and a little later the drums as well. The infinite facets electronic music offers sparked his passion for music anew and soon his first own productions followed.
His skills are as diverse as his innovative productions. If you ever feel like putting a label on it, his style is most probably best described as transcending genre – from Deep House to Future House. No matter which genre you want to assign to his engaging fresh sounds – Martin Van Lectro prefers to let his music speak for itself. DJ, producer, remixer and songwriter, he never fails to smash it on the dancefloor and enchant crowds all over the world.
It will be exciting to see what surprises he holds for us in the near future.

The sound of Vienna-based duo dZihan & Kamien (pronounced Jay-hahn and Kammy-en) can easily be compared with the downtempo, soulful house sounds of Jazzanova, P'taah, or the Naked Music compilations. The duo hit popularity in 1996 with the single "Der Buch," which went big in European clubs and made appearances on several compilations. Their full-length album Freaks & Icons was released in late 2000. Vlado dZihan, originally from Sarajevo, grew up in a predominantly musical household. As a drummer, dZihan became known on the local scene and recorded for the soundtrack of the film Arizona Dream, starring Johnny Depp and Faye Dunaway. He met his production partner, Mario Kamien, while studying in Vienna. Kamien, German-born with both an Italian and Polish heritage, shared dZihan's interest in traditional music, from the Near East, especially Turkey, and a love for Arabic strings. Combining their musical interests with their musical backgrounds, the two released Freaks & Icons on their label, Couch Records. The album focused on a downtempo-house sound, using samples from traditional Near East sources. Freaks & Icons was proceeded by three EP's, Tearroom 2004, [B]efore [A]fter, and Code: No Pork Please. The mix album Refreaked appeared a year later, followed by 2002's Gran Riserva. ~ Diana Potts, Rovi

His course to become a DJ was set at the tender age of 10 years when he began to learn the first steps in to the music production library . It didn’t take long until he discovered his enthusiasm for sampling and synth sounds , getting inspiration from artists such as PaulvanDyk, ATB, Mauro Picotto, or Daft Punk. It is no surprise he followed suit, spending his pocket money on all the second-hand synths and drum machines he could find. Through his teenage years, he spent his days with DJing and editing his favorite tracks using small tape recorders and sampling what he could. His former hobby turned out to be a very important base for his work and brought him to play in clubs and festivals like Slovakia, Czech Republic, Germany, Italy ,Austria, Croatia.

BIO

Viennese musician Christian Fennesz creates densely layered, emotionally engaging electronic music primarily using an electric guitar processed using a laptop computer, redefining the possibilities of both instruments. His best-known works, such as the widely praised 2001 full-length Endless Summer, blend abrasive glitches with soothing melodies nodding to classic rock, pop, and surf music, resulting in a challenging yet accessible form of experimental ambient music. In addition to other accomplished solo albums such as 2004's Venice and 2014's Bécs, Fennesz's vast discography includes numerous collaborations, generally improvised, ranging from the often playful abstractions of Fenn O'Berg (his trio with Jim O'Rourke and Peter "Pita" Rehberg) to more isolationist outings with Sparklehorse and King Midas Sound, as well as serene, piano-based meditations with Ryuichi Sakamoto. Fennesz has also performed ensemble pieces for conceptual and multimedia art installations. Fennesz began playing guitar as a child and later went to art school to pursue music studies. Beginning in 1988, he sang and played guitar in an art rock band called Maische, who released two albums before disbanding in 1992. His first solo work for Mego, the Instrument EP, was released in 1995 and featured four tracks of stunning, uncompromising ambient and electro-acoustic music, combining elements of experimental electro-techno with heavily treated guitar and electronics. Hotel Paral.lel followed in 1997, and Fennesz's 1998 single Plays contained nearly unrecognizable abstract "covers" of the Rolling Stones' "Paint It Black" and the Beach Boys' "Don't Talk (Put Your Head on My Shoulder)." 1999 saw the release of several collaborative albums, including The Magic Sound of Fenn O'Berg (Mego) and Music for an Isolation Tank with Zeitblom and Rantasa (on Rhiz Records). Fennesz's second solo album, Plus Forty Seven Degrees 56' 37" Minus Sixteen Degrees 51' 08", a more ambient effort recorded in his backyard, was issued by Touch in late 1999. Endless Summer, released in 2001, brought him back to the Mego fold. Much more melodic and accessible than his previous work, the album blended Beach Boys-inspired melodies with cutting-edge laptop production techniques and harsh glitching. The album was a huge critical success, charting in numerous year-end (and eventually decade-end) best-of lists, and establishing his reputation as one of experimental electronic music's most well-respected artists. The following year, Touch released Field Recordings 1995-2002, which compiled the Instrument EP along with various compilation tracks and remixes. More collaborations appeared, including a split EP with Main on FatCat Records, Wrapped Islands with Polwechsel on Erstwhile Records, Invisible Architecture #2 with Mika Vainio on Audiosphere, and The Return of Fenn O'Berg on Mego. Japanese label Headz released Fennesz's solo disc Live in Japan in 2003, which helped build momentum for the highly anticipated Venice, released by Touch in 2004. Including a guest appearance by vocalist David Sylvian, the album was another critical success. After collaborative albums with AMM co-founder Keith Rowe and French artist eRikm, Fennesz began collaborating with composer and Yellow Magic Orchestra co-founder Ryuichi Sakamoto, first on the 2005 EP Sala Santa Cecilia and then on 2007 full-length Cendre, both issued by Touch. His next solo album, the darker Black Sea, appeared on Touch in 2008. He released two singles as part of Touch's 7" series: the solo release Transition and Amoroso with Philip Jeck and Charles Matthews. A collaboration with Sparklehorse as part of the In the Fishtank series was released by Konkurrent in 2009. In 2010, Fenn O'Berg released the studio album In Stereo as well as two Live in Japan LPs, all on Editions Mego. Fennesz also mixed Something That Has Form and Something That Does Not by Steven Hess and Sylvain Chauveau's project On, which was issued by Type. Yet another collaborative release, Knoxville (Thrill Jockey, 2010) was an improvised live recording with drummer Tony Buck and fellow guitarist David Daniell. Limited cassettes Szampler and Remiksz (with Stefan Goldmann) appeared on the Tapeworm during the same year. In 2011, Fennesz released the solo EP Seven Stars on Touch. A second collaboration with Sakamoto, double-CD Flumina, also appeared on Touch that year. Fenn O'Berg's In Hell was issued by Editions Mego in March of 2012, and the soundtrack album AUN: The Beginning and End of All Things (including solo Fennesz pieces as well as collaborations with Sakamoto) was released by Ash International a few months later. Fennesz also made his return to Editions Mego as a solo artist with Fa 2012, an unusually dance-oriented single which included a remix by Mark Fell. Double-live LP 17.02.12 appeared on Song Cycle in 2013, with a limited box set edition including a CD and two DVDs. Tribute to John Cage in Four Parts, a tribute to John Cage recorded live with Patrick Pulsinger, was released by Col Legno that year. 2014's Bécs saw Fennesz wrapping his electro-acoustic processing around live drums and modular synthesizers. Conceived as the sequel to Endless Summer, the album was released by Editions Mego. Fennesz contributed to David Sylvian's spoken word album There's a Light That Enters Houses with No Other House in Sight, released by Samadhisound near the end of 2014. In 2015, Fennesz and King Midas Sound released the predominantly ambient Edition 1 on Ninja Tune. Also that year, AirEffect (with Ozmotic) appeared on German label Folk Wisdom. Fennesz's Mahler Remix, based on Gustav Mahler's symphonies and originally released digitally in 2014, was given a double-vinyl issue by Touch in early 2016. Later in the year, Editions Mego released It's Hard for Me to Say I'm Sorry, the first duo collaboration between Fennesz and Jim O'Rourke. Returning to Touch, Fennesz released the two-song single Station One in 2018. This was followed in 2019 by Agora, a stripped-down full-length recorded in the artist's flat after he lost access to a proper studio. ~ Sean Cooper & Paul Simpson, Rovi

Beginning in the mid- to late '90s, Peter Rauhofer garnered acclaim, attention, and controversy as Club 69, a moniker he used for his rather suggestive style of house music. By the end of the '90s, though, Rauhofer had expanded his reach in the stateside dance community. He not only had a successful label to call his own, Star 69, but also a thriving DJ reputation. If fact, Rauhofer became so well-regarded within the house scene that he began getting offers to remix the work of dance-pop's biggest names. For example, Madonna, Jennifer Lopez, and Depeche Mode are just a few of the more popular artists who asked Rauhofer to give their music his trademark dancefloor treatment. Rauhofer's remixing eventually scored him a Grammy for Remixer of the Year, making him one of the few producer/DJs to crossover to the pop mainstream while still remaining an underground favorite. Long before Rauhofer became one of New York's finest, he spent his youth in Vienna, Austria, his hometown. He first began getting acquainted with music while working at a small record store that stocked imports. By the early '80s, he had become a DJ and was regularly spinning at clubs around town. Next came a stint as the international A&R director for GIG Records, a small Austrian record label. This job provided him with plenty of industry experience, and success eventually came his way, most notably when his production of "Let Me Be Your Underwear," released under the name Club 69, became a breakthrough hit in the U.S. This song set the stage for the debut Club 69 full-length, Adults Only. Soon Rauhofer was splitting his time between Austria and the States. By the late '90s, Rauhofer had expanded his reach beyond Club 69, recording under other names such as House Heroes ("Magic Orgasm") and Size Queen ("Pimps, Pumps & Pushers"), and started his own label, Star 69. In 1997 came his second Club 69 full-length, Style, which became a cult favorite and a Billboard success, partly thanks to the success of "Drama." By the end of the decade, he had become a coveted remixer, getting assignments from such big names as Whitney Houston, Donna Summer, Madonna, Pet Shop Boys, Rihanna, Yoko Ono, and K.D. Lang, among others. His remixing duties ultimately culminated in a Grammy for Remixer of the Year in 2000 for his remix of Cher's "Believe." It wasn't just his remixing work that was winning Rauhofer acclaim, though. Star 69 had blossomed into an in-demand label as progressive house became the trendy sound of early 2000. Rauhofer also became a superstar DJ, spinning at a number of New York's biggest clubs like the Limelight, in addition to contributing to nationally distributed mix albums like his entry in the Essential Mix series. Furthermore, Rauhofer became one of the gay community's most cherished DJs, as he went out of his way to champion the circuit party scene, while fellow DJs like Deep Dish's Sharam would credit him with opening the door for the EDM explosion of the 2010s. After suffering a seizure in March of 2013, he was rushed to the hospital where testing revealed a large brain tumor. Rauhofer lost his battle with brain cancer on May 7, 2013. Carl Cox, Markus Schulz, David Guetta, and Hector Romero where just some of the names who quickly took to social media to pay tribute. ~ Jason Birchmeier, Rovi

Born in Brazil, Joyce Muniz has been a fixture on the Viennese club scene since the 90s - at that time with a residency at the legendary Flex Club, today with a regular radio show on FM4 in Austria and Rinse FM in the UK. Actually, Joyce comes from singing and accordingly has a broad approach to music. This is not only reflected in her DJ sets, but also in her productions and the list of her collaborations: giants of the club scene such as Maya Jane Coles, Claptone, Anabel Englund, The Jungle Brother’s legendary Bam, Richard Dorfmeister, Tosca, DJ Hell, Steve Bug & Little Boots, have already teamed up with Joyce. Her highly acclaimed debut album "Made in Vienna" (published in 2016 on trendy Berlin label Exploited) was followed by several tours through the USA, Brazil, Asia and all of Europe. Requests for remixes from pop star Paul Simon on Sony Music and bossa-nova queen Bebel Gilberto on PIAS as well as collaborations with instrument manufacturer Native Instruments and the leading DJ -Music portal Beatport came in. Even during the pandemic, Joyce was busy and, among other things, was a guest at live streams from Burning Man, Desert Hearts, DJ Mag, Mixmag, Beatport to Schönbrunn Palace (where Wolfgang Amadeus gave his first concert). Her music has been released on respected dance labels including K7!, Permanent Vacation, Desert Hearts, Get Physical, Exploited, Pokerflat, Gigolo, Pets Recordings.

Eternate is an Austrian Hardstyle Project represented by Florian Pleger. The journey started when he was only 16 years old. Inspired by the harddance dj idols he had, he found his first project and became a club dj at this young age. Known back then as "Van H" he has been playing shows all over Austria. He quickly made himself a name as the tyrolean Hardstyle Represent. In 2015, Florian merged his Project with his best friend Felix to aim on more higher goals. The first release of them was set to end of 2016. As the whole situation began to become more serious, both decided to give the project a new touch - Eternate was born. Focusing on more rough kicks & more catchy melodies, the Eternate project quickly became a name in the scene. Since then, the project was skyrocketing and got them releases on prestigious labels like Dirty Workz & Scantraxx, just to name a few. Since September 2021, Eternate is signed exclusively to the major dutch Hardstyle Label "Scantraxx Recordz". Even bookingwise, Florian had the chance to play on major festivals and clubshows in Austria, aswell as Germany, Italy, Croatia, Switzerland and more. By now, Eternate has over 1.000.000 combined streams only on spotify and a fanbase of over 15.000 combined followers on social media. With their endless dedication, their will to work harder and to rise higher, ETERNATE is set as a "Ones-To-Watch" for the Future. Booking Contact: flo@urban-ground.at | billy@urban-ground.at

CID RIM, also known as Clemens Bacher, is the acclaimed drummer based in London, hailing from Vienna. Bacher grew up in Austria alongside Dorian Concept and friends who led the city’s burgeoning art & music scene - fusing DIY jazz and electronics. With little regard for classification, their party was the stuff of legend. Set in an old sauna below a theme park - Loud Minority was a vibrant riot of all things new. Often the crew would roll out the club at dawn, straight onto roller coasters. But after years incubating in Vienna, his ambition took him to writing rooms in LA, Paris & NY. A participant in Damon Alburn’s 'African Express', Clemens travelled to S Africa with Brian Eno & Idris Alba to collaborate with local musicians. Clemens has written, and released music with Petite Noir, Okmalumkoolkat, Denai Moore and Theophilus London. Not to mention official remixes for Sky Ferreira, 1975 and Chvrches (winning a Gilles Peterson Worldwide Award). Clemens moved to London to release his debut album ‘Material’. The album achieved BBC 6Music's ‘Album Of The Day’. On FM4, his A-List singles culminated in a live quintet performing with him in a beautiful 50s soundstage. At its essence ‘Material’ was about the intelligence one gains through practice - and while conducting his band from behind drums, Clemens proved a proficiency that’s rare today. Raised in the jazz tradition but obsessed with Autechre & CAN: creating a new bitches brew with Kraftwerk, Billy Cobham & The Beach Boys

After participating in „Musical Education for Kids“ at the very young age of five years, his insistent banging of various kitchen utensils resulted in his father purchasing a drum set for his rhythmically inclined son. Paul SG has been on a life long journey in pursuit of beats ever since.
Working close with LTJ Bukem & the infamous Goodlooking Records for more than half a decade has taught him a great deal of professional attitude and perfectionism which Paul went on to put into his own label Jazzsticks Recordings.
Working and releasing with over 25 different Recordlabels in the past 8 years including Goodlooking, Liquid V, Innerground, Shogun Audio and many more he has no intentions to stop but decided to concentrate more and nearly exclusive on his label. Paul has been busy not only creating original work but also went to do remixes for various labels in and outside of Drum and Bass including officially remixing Bonobo for Tru Thoughts in 2014.
After countless singles, various EPs, Paul SG released his debut LP “This Is Me” on his own imprint Jazzsticks Recordings in october 2016 featuring vocal artists T.R.A.C., Conrad, Angelina Dove & Grimm. The Album went straight to #1 on Junodownload´s salescharts and is considered being one of the strongest and most influential albums in drum & bass in 2016.

Austrian musician B. Fleischmann is best known for releasing glitchy, emotion-rich indie electronic music on labels like Morr Music and Fuzzy Box. His work often combines digital sophistication with post-rock guitars and wide-eyed, sometimes melancholy melodies. Born in Vienna in 1975, Bernhard Fleischmann got his musical start on the piano at age eight before turning to drums five years later as a student at the Hinterbrühl music school. He drummed in live bands for a seven-year stretch, from 1988 to 1995, playing with Speed Is Essential and Sore! In 1998, the electronic music of the Vienna scene started catching his ear, and he switched over to the digital realm and began creating music on his laptop. Well-versed in the art of rhythm at this point, it seemed a natural process to make beats based on complex time signatures and wild syncopated fills. Working under the name B. Fleischmann, his first album, Pop Loops for Breakfast, was released on Morr Music in 1999, followed by the Sidonie EP in 2000. International tours followed, and in the 2000s Fleischmann released a number of albums that showed him veering back toward his organic roots. Sandwiched by singles, EPs, and expansive live recordings, A Choir of Empty Beds (2000) and Welcome Tourist (2003) were among his most notable releases. Fleischmann also participated in Duo505 with chiptune musician Herbert Weixelbaum, who debuted in 2004 with Late, and experimental quintet the Year Of, whose sole full-length was released in 2006. Fleischmann's The Humbucking Coil also appeared in 2006, and 2008's Angst Is Not a Weltanschauung! included a guest appearance by Daniel Johnston. After a few years between releases, Fleischmann returned in 2011 with the live double CD For M/Mikro_Kosmos -- the first part dedicated to the late Mark Linkous of Sparklehorse. I'm Not Ready for the Grave Yet, a more lyrical release featuring guitarist Markus Schneider and saxophonist Karin Waldburger, appeared in 2012. After another lengthy absence, Fleischmann released Stop Making Fans in 2018. The album featured a return appearance from Schneider, in addition to vocalist Gloria Amesbauer and drummer Valentin Duit. ~ Jason Lymangrover, Rovi
