Tomorrowland is marking its 20th anniversary by reinventing three iconic themes into brand-new stages: Elixir of Life, Story of Planaxis, and Secret Kingdom of Melodia. Known for its elaborate storylines that shape the festival’s visual and thematic design, Tomorrowland continues to captivate attendees with its imaginative concepts.

In 2024, Tomorrowland’s theme is LIFE, a prequel to the 2016 Elixir of Life narrative. The main stage is adorned with lush greenery and mushroom structures, embodying the LIFE theme. The Elixir of Life returns not only as a perfume but also as the Elixir stage, which saw Belgian DJ Kiësto perform on Saturday night.

The 2018 Story of Planaxis, with its sea-inspired aesthetics, is revisited through the Planaxis stage. This stage has already featured performances from AMÉMÉ, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, and Philou Louzolo, with Jay Hardway, Chuckie, Yves V, and more scheduled for Sunday.

The Secret Kingdom of Melodia, the 2015 theme, is reimagined as a stage for 2024. Originally depicted as an organ-like castle, this stage has hosted UK radio legends MistaJam and Danny Howard among others.

Making its debut is the CORE stage, a 17-by-30-meter structure resembling a giant stone head split in two. After successful shows in Tulum and Medellín, CORE was taken over by Scottish DJ Denis Sulta’s Sulta Selects brand on Saturday.

Additionally, the festival introduces the Portal To Paradise by Tulum, a new secret stage accessible by scanning QR codes scattered throughout the site using the Tomorrowland app. This innovative approach adds an extra layer of discovery and excitement for festival-goers.

Tomorrowland 2024’s first weekend is already underway, with the second weekend promising even more unforgettable experiences.
